Trust In The Hand Of God.

-Meditation-
Daniel 3:16-18

--TheSecretPlace--

This Scripture is so wonderful, and awesome I am just going to write it all out.

''Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego replied to the king, 'O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to save us from it, and he will rescue us from your hand, O king. But even if He does not, we want you to know, O king, that we will not serve your gods, or worship the image of gold you have set up.'"

What great FAITH and TRUST in the hand of the LORD!! Before king Nebuchadnezzar, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego stood faithful to Jesus in all that they did, and said. They did not even try to defend themselves! They had no concern that there was a threat on their lives to death, their only concern was to please the LORD their God in all of their doings. By this act/move of faith they were posturing themselves as completely humble servants in submission to the LORD's will for their lives. They had confidence that they were in the LORD's hands, and even the king could not pluck them out of it, they knew that death in this life would not seperate the from the LORD. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were willing to travel on the path of their destiny that the LORD had for them to travel on no matter what. They knew that the LORD's plans were the best plans, and they did not waver in their trusting in Him. It was He who brought them to this land they then lived in, and it was the LORD that set them in the places of authority they were in---How could they take their trust out of their GOD?==> The answer to that question is they could not. They had encountered the goodness of our God, and they had seen the works of His GREAT and AWESOME power, and they were not about to give up their place in His heart, they were lovestruck by a HOLY HOLY God.

There are a few things that we can take from this passage, and we are going to do just that right now.

One thing that sticks out to me in Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego-and that is that their trust was in the hand of the LORD- and in the same way, our trust needs to be in Him.
They had confidence in the LORD's will for their lives, even in the hard circumstances they knew that they needed the LORD's will no matter what, because His way/will is the way to eternal, and abundant life. They understood that they needed that in their own lives.
They were no afraid of the enemies that took their stand up against them. Their eyes and hearts were focused on the victory that they already had in the LORD. They had assurance that the LORD would accomplish His will, and they knew that, that was the most important thing-They were even willing to die for the LORDs will to be done!! Do you want the will of God that much?? This is the kind of desire for the LORD's will to be accomplished that we all need to have- The heart that says 'Lord, I want Your will to be done, even if I don't see it, even if I die for it to be done.' This was what was in their hearts.
They knew that they had to follow the LORD no matter what the cost. They were not interested in merely living long, they wanted even more than that to glorify God in all they did even to the point of death.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego knew that no matter what kind of torture came their way nothing was more important than staying true to Jesus. This is something that I see attacking my generation. There are so many youth who say they are Christians, and there are so many that say they love God, but in the face of being made fun of, or picked on, or persecuted they step down like it was all a joke. This is not faithfulness to Jesus, in fact I think it breaks His heart. My prayer for my generation is that we would wake up and see Jesus, and how worthy He is to be praised, and how we are being called to worship Him, and to LOVE Him. I just want to call you, and challenge you to be praying the LORD's heart over the people of God, for your generation, and for those generations living on the earth. The LORD wants to move in each generation, and He wants us to pull together, and be united in Christ.

One really important thing about this passage of scripture, and in the lives of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego is that Holy Spirit empowered them to stand before the king with boldness. They couldn't have done this without God. Imagine yourself before the president and him commanding you to do something, and what he was commanding you to do was against Jesus, and you told him ''no, and I have no need to defend myself, because my God can save me from what you want to do to me, and even if he doesn't I would never do what you are telling me to do." You know that you would NEED Holy Spirit to empower you with boldness and strength to stand. I just want to encourage you to prepare yourselves for the days, and times where, and when this will have to be your response to those who command you to sin. Get to the place of prayer so that you may stand firm in the foundation of Christ Jesus, and His WORD. GET INTO THE BIBLE!! GET TRUTH RUNNING THROUGH YOUR OWN SYSTEM!!

The last thing I want to talk about is how we, as the Bride of Christ, and as the people of God, we need to let the LORD mold us, and form us in our faith to love Him wholly, and to do what He calls us to do in boldness. Lets make ourselves mold-able. We need to let Jesus soften our hearts, and He will make us like Him. Praise the LORD! In Jesus Name.

---Intercession---
Lord Jesus, please help us to be mold-able. Reveal Jesus to Your Bride. I pray that we would have open hearts to Your move, and that however you want to soften our hearts, and mold our hearts please just COME and have Your way, because it is the BEST way, and Your way is the way we want to walk in. Lord, thank you for the blessing of being able to trust in You, and in Your hand. God just the fact that we don't have to do anything special for you, for You to love us is so wonderful-And You still blow us away with blessings. Lord, I just pray that you would cover us, Your Bride, and cover Your people with Your blood. I pray that you would fill us with Love joy peace patience kindness goodness faithfulness gentleness and self control. Fill us with righteousness and justice, let us feel the burnings of Your heart. I love You LORD. Thank You for love Lord. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Blessings to the LORD!!
