By HIM We Are Free.

-Meditation-
Jeremiah 1:8

"Do not be afraid of them(men), for I am with you(the LORD's presence) to deliver you, declares the LORD."

--TheSecretPlace--

The first thing I want to talk about concerning this scripture, and Jeremiah is the fact that Jeremiah was a sinful human being, and he realized that, and also realized his need for salvation-and/or- atonement for his sin, and so the LORD addresses that here in this passage. The LORD speaks to Jeremiah by His VOICE, which is already pretty amazing, and the LORD tells him
"Do not be afraid of them. for I am with you to deliver you-to SAVE you!"
And that is an amazing thing. This was before Jesus came to earth as a baby, it was before they had the Holy Spirit, and it was before they had baptism of any sort, so here God tells Jeremiah that no matter what happens, be assured you are already delivered, before anything even happens, do not FEAR, because they are defeated, and YOU have eternal life.
For us the LORD doesn't tell us that we aren't going to be saved from dying here on earth, because whether you want to believe it or not, we are going to die, whether it be by martyrdom, a freak accident, or if you just pass away one night while you are sleeping. We will die, but the LORD here is telling Jeremiah, and He tells us over and over-DO NOT FEAR-I AM WITH YOU.
DO NOT FEAR-I WILL DELIVER YOU.
Jeremiah feared man, but when the LORD spoke His words over him of deliverance, and He touched His mouth, and put His words in Jeremiah's mouth, Jeremiah didn't say anything more here about fearing-Why? Because the LORD dispelled Jeremiah's fear, and Jeremiah did not turn back to his own will, and his own way, he didn't continue through the whole book saying "I am only a youth, and I don't feel like risking my life for you LORD, can you go to the guy down the road? He has grey hair and a beard and everything." But instead he walked in the will of the LORD for his life, and trusted in His leadership.

What a great example-
We all have mountains to move, and we all have battles to fight, but when Jeremiah came to the LORD with all of his junk, there was a divine trade that occurred. Jeremiah no longer held to his weaknesses, but instead he made it a lifestyle(his way of life) to cling to the LORD's strength.
This is what we were all made to do, and how blessed are we to know that the LORD's patience does not wear thin, and He is just waiting to trade us His strength for our many many weaknesses!

Now we ourselves can know for sure that the LORD has delivered us as well! When Jesus died on the cross, He made the final devine trade, and now we ALL have access to Jesus! And just as Jeremiah had full assurance in the LORD's voice, and the LORD's hand, we need, and I mean we really need to in the same way leave all of our baggage behind, and lean on the LORD's strength.
Now by His hand and His voice by Holy Spirit, He will lead us into all truth!!

There is one more thing I want to cover before I turn the cpu off, and that is that in Jesus there is NO reason for worry, and fear->Whoever the Son sets free is free indeed. When we choose to fear and to worry we are choosing to put our trust in the things we are worried, and afraid of, and about. We need to make it our habit to say no to trusting in man, and say yes to trusting in the voice, and the hand of the LORD, because when we do that we truly will be led into all truth, and that is such a gift.

I pray that you would be blessed in all of this, and I hope all of you are walking in the LORD's plan for your life, and if you are not my prayer is that you would search out His will so that you may have assurance in what the plan of the LORD for your life is, and that you would be content with being a lover of God, and being loved by God.

---Intercession---

Jesus, I want to thank You for your kindness, and how You minister so gently to our hearts, I just ask that throughout the earth You would continue to call forth prophets like Jeremiah, and that we would all be able to understand that in You we are all called LOVED by God and LOVERS of God. Thank You so much Jesus for Your faithfulness, and Your kindness. You are good. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Be Blessed in the Name of the LORD!
Kasey
