Trust In The Hand Of God.

-Meditation-
Daniel 3:16-18

--TheSecretPlace--

This Scripture is so wonderful, and awesome I am just going to write it all out.

''Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego replied to the king, 'O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to save us from it, and he will rescue us from your hand, O king. But even if He does not, we want you to know, O king, that we will not serve your gods, or worship the image of gold you have set up.'"

What great FAITH and TRUST in the hand of the LORD!! Before king Nebuchadnezzar, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego stood faithful to Jesus in all that they did, and said. They did not even try to defend themselves! They had no concern that there was a threat on their lives to death, their only concern was to please the LORD their God in all of their doings. By this act/move of faith they were posturing themselves as completely humble servants in submission to the LORD's will for their lives. They had confidence that they were in the LORD's hands, and even the king could not pluck them out of it, they knew that death in this life would not seperate the from the LORD. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were willing to travel on the path of their destiny that the LORD had for them to travel on no matter what. They knew that the LORD's plans were the best plans, and they did not waver in their trusting in Him. It was He who brought them to this land they then lived in, and it was the LORD that set them in the places of authority they were in---How could they take their trust out of their GOD?==> The answer to that question is they could not. They had encountered the goodness of our God, and they had seen the works of His GREAT and AWESOME power, and they were not about to give up their place in His heart, they were lovestruck by a HOLY HOLY God.

There are a few things that we can take from this passage, and we are going to do just that right now.

One thing that sticks out to me in Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego-and that is that their trust was in the hand of the LORD- and in the same way, our trust needs to be in Him.
They had confidence in the LORD's will for their lives, even in the hard circumstances they knew that they needed the LORD's will no matter what, because His way/will is the way to eternal, and abundant life. They understood that they needed that in their own lives.
They were no afraid of the enemies that took their stand up against them. Their eyes and hearts were focused on the victory that they already had in the LORD. They had assurance that the LORD would accomplish His will, and they knew that, that was the most important thing-They were even willing to die for the LORDs will to be done!! Do you want the will of God that much?? This is the kind of desire for the LORD's will to be accomplished that we all need to have- The heart that says 'Lord, I want Your will to be done, even if I don't see it, even if I die for it to be done.' This was what was in their hearts.
They knew that they had to follow the LORD no matter what the cost. They were not interested in merely living long, they wanted even more than that to glorify God in all they did even to the point of death.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego knew that no matter what kind of torture came their way nothing was more important than staying true to Jesus. This is something that I see attacking my generation. There are so many youth who say they are Christians, and there are so many that say they love God, but in the face of being made fun of, or picked on, or persecuted they step down like it was all a joke. This is not faithfulness to Jesus, in fact I think it breaks His heart. My prayer for my generation is that we would wake up and see Jesus, and how worthy He is to be praised, and how we are being called to worship Him, and to LOVE Him. I just want to call you, and challenge you to be praying the LORD's heart over the people of God, for your generation, and for those generations living on the earth. The LORD wants to move in each generation, and He wants us to pull together, and be united in Christ.

One really important thing about this passage of scripture, and in the lives of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego is that Holy Spirit empowered them to stand before the king with boldness. They couldn't have done this without God. Imagine yourself before the president and him commanding you to do something, and what he was commanding you to do was against Jesus, and you told him ''no, and I have no need to defend myself, because my God can save me from what you want to do to me, and even if he doesn't I would never do what you are telling me to do." You know that you would NEED Holy Spirit to empower you with boldness and strength to stand. I just want to encourage you to prepare yourselves for the days, and times where, and when this will have to be your response to those who command you to sin. Get to the place of prayer so that you may stand firm in the foundation of Christ Jesus, and His WORD. GET INTO THE BIBLE!! GET TRUTH RUNNING THROUGH YOUR OWN SYSTEM!!

The last thing I want to talk about is how we, as the Bride of Christ, and as the people of God, we need to let the LORD mold us, and form us in our faith to love Him wholly, and to do what He calls us to do in boldness. Lets make ourselves mold-able. We need to let Jesus soften our hearts, and He will make us like Him. Praise the LORD! In Jesus Name.

---Intercession---
Lord Jesus, please help us to be mold-able. Reveal Jesus to Your Bride. I pray that we would have open hearts to Your move, and that however you want to soften our hearts, and mold our hearts please just COME and have Your way, because it is the BEST way, and Your way is the way we want to walk in. Lord, thank you for the blessing of being able to trust in You, and in Your hand. God just the fact that we don't have to do anything special for you, for You to love us is so wonderful-And You still blow us away with blessings. Lord, I just pray that you would cover us, Your Bride, and cover Your people with Your blood. I pray that you would fill us with Love joy peace patience kindness goodness faithfulness gentleness and self control. Fill us with righteousness and justice, let us feel the burnings of Your heart. I love You LORD. Thank You for love Lord. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Blessings to the LORD!!

Your Response To The Command To Sin.

-Meditation-
Daniel 3:13-15

--TheSecretPlace--

Daniel 3:13-15

v.13-furious with rage Nebuchadnezzar summoned Shadrach Meshach and Abednego, and so they were brought before him
v.14-Nebuchadnezzar asked them "is it true, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, that you do not serve my gods or worship the image of gold I have set up?
v.15-And he told them 'When you hear the sound of all of the music, and if you are ready to worship the image I made, very good, but if you do not worship it you will be thrown immediately throne into a blazing furnace." Then he said ''Then what god will be able to rescue you from my hand?''

King Nebuchadnezzar obviously as I said in earlier posts had NO regard for God, or who He was, or what He can do. He willingly tested God, and taunted Shadrach Meshach and Abednego. King Nebuchadnezzar was violently attacking the faith of God in Shadrach Meshach and Abednego, and the attack of the world, and our culture on the people of God is like that of king Nebuchadnezzar. The world says to 'do what I do' and 'worship what I worship' Do what I command you to, and if you don't you will suffer.' And right now it is like an unspoken threat in America, but in other parts of the world Christianity is hated, because those who claim to be Christian are mostly radical about their faith in Jesus, because they know that it is all they can truly cling to. As time goes on the wickedness will increase, which means, I believe, that the people of God will rise up in righteousness, and stand for what the LORD calls good.
So as we know the days of persecution are coming, and are here, how are we going to stand? How are we going to stand against the flow of the dark culture we live in?
I believe that we, as the people of God, need to have the faith, and confidence in the knowledge that our pain in this life does not even begin to compare with the JOY we will experience in the next age in the kingdom of GOD.
We also need to prepare ourselves in the place of prayer. We desperately need to get into the Word of God, we need to be equipped with the Sword of the Spirit in Christ.

This one thing still will come up in every situation of life, Will you still stand for the LORD, EVEN WHEN EVERYONE turns against Him, and you? Because there will be scoffers, and mockers, and if you will not stand before those you know in righteousness and justice, how are you going to stand before those you do not know in righteousness and justice?

At the threat of death will you be faithful? When no one else is, and no one claims to know Jesus will you?

Right now in the earth the kings of the earth are setting themselves up AGAINST Jesus, the Son of God, and we are coming to the point where we must choose to go all the way for the LORD in complete and total faithfulness, or to go all the way against Him. I want to be found pure and spotless, but there will be many who only want to be happy, and in their search for happiness no long-term joy is found, and no LIFE is found, only short-term happiness.

The culture in which we live is throwing away its foundations, and we need to stand in righteousness, and in justice, and in the place of prayer before the LORD with a desperate cry in our hearts to know God, and to see Jesus come, and for Jesus to come back, to establish JUSTICE on the earth.

We NEED a Judge. We need JESUS.

Are you willing to give yourself to see the coming of the LORD, and even if you don't see Him come in your lifetime, will you give yourself to the purposes of His heart to return to the earth?

At the command to sin, GOD breaks in.--On behalf of His Bride.

Pray about it.

---Intercession---

Jesus right now I want to come to you and I ask Father that you would pour out on Your people a Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of you so that we may know and understand what you are calling us to, and how you want us to partner with You. Please strengthen us and help us to love you more. I love you LORD! In Jesus Name I just ask that you would pour out Your fragrance on our worship offerings. We love you LORD, and ask that you would pour out your Spirit, and that you would just please come, and reveal Jesus to Your Bride. We are lost without You, and we need a revelation of You. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Blessed Be the Name of The LORD.

What Saves God's People

-Meditation-
Daniel 3:10-12

--TheSecretPlace--

To answer my title, and what my main point is, is healthy godly relationships. One thing I, and many have learned is that you cannot run this race alone, we need God, and we need others to push us on, and encourage us.

Let's dig into this Scripture.

Daniel 3:10-12

v.10- The Chaldeans remind the king of his command to worship the idolatrous image.
v.11- The Chaldeans remind the king of the consequences he set up against those who did not obey his command.
v.12 says-- ''There are certain Jews whom you have appointed over the affairs of the province of Babylon(which is where the idol was set up-v.1-): Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. These men, O king, PAY NO ATTENTION TO YOU; they do not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you set up."

YES!!! Ones who remain faithful to Jesus! All the way. These guys truly do blow me away. Here they are in the higher places of authority in the province of Babylon, and even though threatened with death chose to remain faithful to the LORD, they chose that no matter what they would not bow down to any false god, but only the True, and Living God.

When these guys committed themselves to the LORD they understood that no matter what their tolerance of evil would be 0, and their stand for God would be their everything, the very thing about them that stands out-literally-. Their lives are lives we can look at and say-This is what it looks like to keep your eyes on Jesus, because they did not even consider going the way of Satan.

The Chaldeans even note the fact that they completely ignored the task, and the command of king Nebuchadnezzar, and all of the talk of idol worship. They kept themselves pure by setting their ears even to the voice of the LORD instead of the voice of this world. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego kept themselves pure.
We need to be people to be so kept pure that when others begin to talk of what is not of God, or good our ears and our attention turns away from the bad, and we focus on the good, we focus on the LORD.

As the people of God we need desperately need to be in the constant place of removing us from the equation of evil, from the realm of godless chatter.
The stand for purity means that we are standing against ALL impurity. From bad thoughts, to (bad) imagination, to Television. What you let in is 10 times harder to get completely out, so the us one reason why we need to desperately need to give ourselves to the place of prayer.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego had so many amazing, admirable, qualities, but before I end I will end on the most important, and those are....

1->They had a good solid relationship with God.
2->They had a good relationship with each other.

They fellowshipped with God, and with one another. Without these relationships what are we? If we were great, and got many awards what would it matter if we were known or not. Nothing matters without relationship, and I will be talking more about this tomorrow, but I just want to challenge you to focus on those things which are needed, and those things deeply connect with what you are doing in the kingdom of God.

We need people to be completely honest with. We need good strong, and godly relationships. Let us pursue what is good in the LORD together.

Be blessed

---Intercession---

Lord, I just pray that you would fill us, Your people with living understanding, and with a Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of you. Please help us to cultivate good relationships with you, and with one another. Help us LORD to cease to do evil, and learn to do good. I pray that you would deeply convict us, and show us Your heart, pour out Your blessings. Thank you LORD, we LOVE YOU! I bless you In Jesus Name. Amen

What kills a generation.

-Meditation-
Daniel 3:7-9

--TheSecretPlace--

Hello all, before I jump into pointing out some revelation I have received from this passage of scripture, let's dissect it.

Daniel 3:7-9

v.7-At the time when the music sounded, the Word says that all of the people, nations, and languages fell down and worshipped the golden, idolatrous image that king Nebuchadnezzar had set up.
v.8-Then some 'certain Chaldean's' came and accused the Jews.....
v.9 Then they, accusing the Jews said, "O king live forever!"

It is a pretty good story reading on, so if you are interested read on, but today, because verses 8 & 9 have more to do with what we will be talking about tomorrow, I want to focus this post on verse 7, and as I was reading, I got more out of it than expected, and the wonderful thing is that there is still so much more to this verse that I do not comprehend. How AWESOME is our God!!

The first thing I noticed in this scripture is that the people there were so willing to bow down to this worthless idol, whether it was because they were under threat of death, or because they were accustomed to worshipping false gods, I don't know, but I do know that to bow down to something that cannot do anything seems like a waste of time in all, right??? But the truth is that even though we have things in our culture like mirrors, and video games, and cell phones that CAN NOT provide any security to you(especially when the phone dies), and so many youth, and adults bow down to these things like they are God. How willing are you to praise what was made by the hands of man? This is outrageous.

Also, these people obeyed the command of the king even though it caused them to stumble into sin. These people probably didn't care much about whether or not they fell into sin, especially if it meant for them to lose their lives over doing so. Thankfully there were some found faithful to the LORD to not bow down before that idol, which we will be talking about tomorrow.

The LORD right now is raising up a people, an army, of those who will refuse to defile themselves with idol worship of any sort. I desperately want to be, and am a part of this move of God. he is looking for those who will purify themselves, even in the face of death. This is truly a worthy calling. I am fully aware of how much I talked about this yesterday, but I am stirred to the point of saying even twice is not enough for me to get this engraved into my heart. I want to challenge you, and ask you, Will you be a part of this move that the LORD is mobilizing?

Out of the fear of man(and the fear of death) did some worship this idol, out of idolatry did some worship this idol, and some worshipped this idol out of their tolerance of evil, maybe they didn't want to bow down, bu their thoughts were along the lines of "its just a golden image, I would rather bow down than die."
And I do not know for sure why all of these people bowed down these are just my guesses. I do know this, and that is that the tolerance of evil, fear of man, fear of death, and idol worship, are all things the enemy uses, and is using to kill-spiritually, and physically- our generation, and the people of the earth.
There is evil arising in the earth, but there is also a righteous move of God. Will you be a part of this revolution?
Will you join me, and many others to stand against the idols this generation is setting up for themselves to worship, and even more will you stand against the idols all of the people of the earth are raising up for themselves to worship?

Will you respond to this call?

---Intercession---

Jesus, I just want to thank you for how you are moving across this earth, and calling us to partner with you. I pray that you would strengthen us to cling to You in purity and in love. Thank you for what you are doing. Please call those whom you have chosen to be a part of this move. I love you LORD, and I trust Your move. Please lead us to the rock that is higher than we are. Thank You, and in JESUS' NAME I pray. Amen.

Idol worship... or faithfulness to the LORD.

-Meditation-
Daniel 3:4-6

--TheSecretPlace--

As I write this blog right now, I just feel like the LORD is taking us to new places in Him. By that I mean that the LORD-God-of the universe- is pouring out His Spirit on His people, and there is about to be an explosion of God, SO I encourage you to be expecting this. I am currently stirred and blown away by what the LORD is doing, and usually I stay away from writing about things that are happening in Dothan except really for the house of prayer, but the LORD is doing a great work, and He is calling His people to be a part of it. So if you are around 14-18 years old, and you want to be a part of what the LORD is doing, I invite you to this event--> http://skillrevolution.com/holder.pdf

AND even if you cannot go to this, know that this is not required to be apart of what the LORD is doing. You can even be apart of what the LORD is doing from your prayer closet, and if that is how you want to partner with Him GO FOR IT.

To the WORD.
If you did not read yesterdays post, this is a continuation of that, so to kinda connect the dots read Daniel 3:1-3 or yesterdays post.

Daniel 3:4-6>>

v.4-The herald stands up and announces the kings command to all who are gathered in the place standing before the idol that king Nebuchadnezzar had set up. He got all of the peoples attention to tell them the kings command.
v.5-So he continued to say, and 'loudly proclaim' it says to at the sound of all of the music EVERYONE MUST fall down and worship this idolatrous image that the king had set up.
v.6-He finished by saying "Whoever does not fall down and worship will immediately be thrown into a blazing furnace."

The herald, and well the kings command pretty much came across like this... Worship this false god that I created(v.1) or I will throw you into this blazing furnace that gets really hot, and there's a LOT of fire.
What a nice command.

What a threat!
Here are all of these people gathered together before this thing, this idol, and they are there for the dedication of it, and they command all the people to fall down and worship this idol like it is God.
And then they threat everyone there who doesn't to be thrown into a really really big blazing fire!
This is messed up, but the sad thing is that to-day-today there are people setting up idols(things that take a place in your life that is higher than the place of God in your life.), and for those who stand against those idols in faithfulness to Jesus, there will be persecution from those who are setting up the idols, and you may say things like "oh not in America" but I am telling you that you do not have to be thrown into a fiery furnace to be persecuted. And right now more than ever we need to be ready as the people of God to stand against the idolatrous images of the world that all of the people are bowing down to, and stand in faithfulness to Christ Jesus, even unto death.
---->
The command to idol worship, is an unseen call to the saints of the LORD to stand in faithfulness to Jesus Christ against the idol(whatever it may be). There are people being raising up right now that fit the description of the saints in Revelation 12:11 which says
"And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death."
Those who love not(do not guard) their lives even unto(in the face of) death.

We are blessed to be a part of this revolution. The army of the LORD is rising up, and the LORD is calling to His army those who will not love their lives even unto death, like the scripture says.

In the face of the command to idol worship, whatever that looks like, what will be your response?? What will your heart be stirred to do? What is your heart stirred to do? Even entertaining immoral thoughts or even thoughts that are not immoral, but thoughts that take the place of God, even that is idolatry. Sadly there are so many people in, and out of the church submitted to this idol worship, and there is a desperate need for breakthrough. Right now if you are dealing with something like this CALL someone you know who is close to the LORD, and get them to pray for you, and get them to help you through, and if you have no one, and have stumbled across this web page, and you want deliverance, please email me ( Thesecretplaceintercession@yahoo.com ) and I will talk with you, and help you to get connected with the people of God.

Tonight be thinking about what you do, and what your response is to those things that come up in battle to take the place of the LORD in your life.
What is your response when facebook slowly starts to take up your time more and more until that is all you do? What is your response when the guy or girl you like takes the place of God in your heart?
Are you willing to get rid of all of those things, whatever they may be, to follow the will of God for your life, and to be intimate with Jesus?

I urge you, and exert you to go about this in the LORD praying, and being open to His correction, and His gentle leading. Holy Spirit will lead you into all truth so get into the Word, and follow after the LORD wherever He leads you.

---Intercession---

Father, in Jesus Name I come to, and I just pray that you would give to each person who reads this a living understanding of what you are doing, and how you are calling them to partner with you in what you are doing. I pray that hunger would rise up within the hearts of those who read this for Your word, and for Your Spirit. Lord I just thank you for how you are moving in the earth, and are calling us to faithfulness to Jesus, and I pray that you would strengthen us to walk in this calling in Your name. I ask Lord, that you would wake us up, and stir our hearts in love for You alone. I pray that you would fill us with Your Holy Spirit, with the fire of God, and with the power of Holy Spirit so that we may walk in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ Jesus, our Beloved, and Your Beloved Son. I just pray that love would be awakened in our hearts. Thank you LORD for what you are doing, and the greatness you are calling us to. I love you, and ask that you would give your Bride a revelation of your LOVE, and I also just want to ask that you would give your church the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of YOU. THANK YOU JESUS! In Your most awesome Name I pray. Amen.

In Christ Jesus.

To stand with the kings of the earth before their false gods, or to stand against them

-Meditation-
Daniel 3:1-3

--TheSecretPlace--

For the next 10 days I will be digging into Daniel 3, and I will be taking the chapter 3 verses a day, so if you want to follow along in your own study of it, go for it. The LORD has been speaking to me about how we are getting closer, and closer to the day of the Lord, the day of His return, and how even right now we are in the last days. I am so struck with an intense burning, and urgency to passionately pursue by the fact that Jesus is making the Bride of Christ ready for Himself. I am so stirred by the fact that the faith and prayers-the agreements of the saints, with Jesus, will indeed mobilize many to cry out to the Lord for Him to return, and send the rains of revival.
In the world right now we are also coming closer and closer to the point where more people are choosing who they will serve. I believe the Lord is going to be 'blasting' some of His people with the revelation of Jesus, and He will do so to those who ask Him for it. I also believe that sadly many will not want anything to do with our LORD, and will choose to stand against Him.-Which is the most dangerous place to be-more harm will come to those who stand against Jesus than to those who stand with Him in the temporary sufferings on earth in this age.

In these coming days, and years I believe that our nation, and the nations of the earth are going to be, and really already are, thrown into such confusion, and chaos that the LORD will open wide a door of opportunity for the Bride of Christ to take her stand of faithfulness out of lovesickness for our Beloved Bridegroom. The demonic oppression, and even possession may increase, but I am believing for an entire generation, and better said-the people of God-the Body of Christ-to be possessed, and awakened with an obsession for GOD ALONE. He will be our pursuit. I believe that even in the darkest day the LORD will raise up radical ones like Moses, and Joshua, and Aaron. I believe that He is raising up Elijahs, and Samuels,  prophets, and nazirites even. I believe that there truly is a move of God coming to America, and to the whole earth, as we, the bride of Christ begin to partner with the LORD's heart in intercession, by night and day crying out to Him. I believe He will pour Himself out on us.

In Daniel 3 there is so much to pay attention to, and apply to our lives, here on the earth even now. So lets dig into these first 3 verses.
In Daniel 3:1-3...

v.1-King Nebuchadnezzar set up an idolatrous image in probably the most populated part(province) of Babylon.
v.2-then he summoned all of those in government who are in any place, or form of authority to gather FOR the purpose of the dedication of this idol.
v.3-so they all gathered, [and some probably came in fear that they would be put to death if they did not come to the king when he called them(which is a good picture of what will happen to those who do not come to Jesus when He calls them-all who refuse to come will be eternally thrown into the lake of fire.)], but anyways they gathered and stood before this false idol, and stood in tolerance of what king Nebuchadnezzar was doing.

By standing before this false idol, and even traveling to where it was in honor of it, showed that these people had no regard for our God, the God of heaven. Even after Daniel interpreted king Nebuchadnezzar's dream previously(in chapter 2), these people were offering up honor to this false god, and were tolerating this evil. Obviously king Nebuchadnezzar deeply underestimated the power of God, and so did all of those who gathered together for the dedication of this idolatrous image. It is a sad thing that all of these people in government had such a willingness to stand before what was not truly GOD, they stood in honor of a golden statue that couldn't do anything to them, or for them, it was just pointless. We can apply this to our lives in so many ways, one being the fact that so many people have lifted up false gods without even knowing it, and I am talking about Christians, and those who are not Christians, those who do, and those who don't believe in the power of Jesus. We do so many things that defy the presence, and power of God without even realizing it.
So many even today culture are getting entangled with the affairs of darkness, and with the knowledge of what they are doing they accept the invitation to give honor and praise to false gods. Though these are kinda drastic measures, my point is that the tolerance of evil, is a stand against God. To stand against God is to choose to go the way of the world. We need an understanding, and an awareness of who God is.

Truly God had mercy on Babylon that day by not utterly destroying it, and all of its people, and all of those who were in authority who stood before, and tolerated that idol. Even that day the LORD used the idolatrous image to create an opportunity=> #1-For His people to be faithful to Him by standing against the idol, bringing glory to the LORD, and walking in obedience to the LORD. And #2-For His faithful ones who were bold to stand against the image to even to minister, through faithfulness to the LORD, to those who came against them when they choose faithfulness to Jesus.

What the enemy intends for bad, the LORD often uses for good, which means satan cannot win, and he knows that he cannot.

It is pretty easy to see how this can apply to our own lives, and just by reading these first 3 verses we can see how the LORD is setting up opportunity for His faithful people to glorify Him. In the same way because of our schools, and society, and culture today, and how there are so many people rejecting Jesus, means that more and more everyday you are going to have opportunities to stand for Christ, or to tolerate the evil in the world. I believe the LORD is giving His people strength, and perseverance to stand for what is good, and to hate what is evil. How are you standing for what is good? How are you going for the LORD, even though it seems like everyone else is going after the things of this world?

The LORD has blessed us with all we need to stand for what is good. When we begin to stand for what is good, He will strengthen us, and will open up our eyes to see the glory in what we are doing to stand for His Name. If you don't take away anything else from this post, I want you to think about ways you can, and will stand against the idols so many are lifting up, whatever it may be. An idol is anything that you put up before GOD. It is anything that you give more of yourself, and more of your attention to. For the LORD to be second place in your life, probably means that there is an idol you need to get rid of. It may take up all of your time, all of your thoughts, and all of your emotions, and affections.

I want to challenge you and I to be people who put the LORD first, and go after Him first. What would it look like for you to put Him first, and what would it look like for you to go after Him in radical abandonment, and love?
There is no telling how your heart would soar, and be filled with JOY.

This is truly a worthy calling-to stand before the LORD in the presence of enemies, He will strengthen you and guide you. Rest assured that you are really taken care of.

Bless The LORD O My Soul!!

---Intercession---
Father I just pray that you would continue to reveal yourself to me, and to your people as we search out Your word. I ask that You would give us revelation, and that you would strengthen us with might, and the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank You for the blessings You pour out on Your children, I pray that we would be good stewards, and that we would be faithful with what You have given us to be faithful with. In Jesus' Name. Amen

Blessed Be the Name of the LORD.

Your Hearts Desire-To Know God.

-Meditation-
Colossians 1:9

--TheSecretPlace--

Hello all! Yesterday we talked about how a lot of people really do want to know the will of God for their lives even if they are unbelievers, but there are, as you know, only a few people who actually pursue the will of God. That is an amazing thing though, because so many people truly long for it, but they do not understand how desperately they need it, and therefore do not pursue it with all they are.
Have you ever pursued something with all you are? There are probably some instances that come to your mind from when you were younger and there was a video game, or a sport that you worked really hard at and finally got, and there are songs that you finally learned to sing, and I don't know what it was for you, but the truth that we all come to see is that those things do not last. You can only practice a game so long until you beat it, and sooner or later you lose interest in the song you finally learned all the words to.
These things are only interesting for short seasons of life, and then the next big thing rolls around, but aren't you ready for live for one thing that is interesting, and glorious in every season of life? I believe every person longs for that, and that one thing many today have found, and if you have found it you know that it is Jesus Christ-He is the One who was, and is, and is to come. In Him is life to the full-until it overflows-in every season of life. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

There is so much more than these temporary things we give our lives, and time to. We were created to live with a purpose, and not just for a little while for a short season, but the King of Glory has given each person eternal purpose. Sadly there are, as we said earlier, only few who choose to walk in their God-ordained destiny/purpose, and I want to ask you right now, Have you found that one thing that you can never get tired of doing? Have you found purpose for living that doesn't expire? Do you live for what is worth dying for? If you have not yet made a decision concerning that which you live for, I want to encourage you in the LORD that there is no greater life than life in Jesus. The world may cling to temporary pleasure, but in Jesus there are eternal pleasures that never disappoint.

Paul and Timothy learned, and found that there was only one thing, and better said, One Person worthy of living their lives for. They found this One person that they had been searching for, and when they found Him, they fell in love with Jesus, the life He give, and they gave their lives to Him in return for HIS LIFE. After making the decision to follow Him, they viewed Jesus Christ as the top priority in all of life, and because they determined to seek Him first(Matthew 6:33) they experienced the superior pleasures of knowing and loving Him. They found that the knowledge of God is what ignites their hearts with LIFE, and LOVE, and they did all they could to know Him more---To be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual understanding, and in all spiritual wisdom, because in all spiritual wisdom and understanding is the only way to know Christ because He is the most complex person. We are blessed to have the full ability to know Him. One of the great blessings of Jesus is that we don't even have to work at a church, or be a preacher to know Him, or to seek Him first in our own lives. Jesus is for every person to follow, and He is the greatest leader.

He is so worthy to be our top priority, and I have found that the more you give yourself to the knowledge of God, and the more you know Him, the more you realize what a treasure it is just to know Him, and that it doesn't even matter if you have the worst family situation, or the worst job, the only thing that matters is that you know the one who loves you unconditionally, and no job, and no amount of money could buy the love of God, but instead He pours it out to those who seek Him first.

So many people who talk about Jesus, and claim to know Jesus only really know Him in their minds, and what I mean by that is they do not have heart knowledge of God, and so many people lack heart-knowledge without even knowing it. It is because they lack a relationship with Him, and they do not sow into a relationship with Him, so they are just stuck in this religious spirit, and most people who are there realize that they aren't really walking in the freedom of Christ, and simply do not understand that it is not because Jesus doesn't LIKE them, but merely because there is no intimacy where there is no relationship. When we lack heart-knowledge of God our hearts grow cold, and hard, and we are restricted to living burdensome lives. But the LORD is offering us freedom! Jesus Christ came, and died for us so that we may know Him, love Him, and be FREE from our sins. We all need our hearts to be ignited with the knowledge of God, and thankfully the LORD wants to ignite our hearts in many many ways, but one key way He does is by filling us with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. How blessed are we to receive the knowledge of God.

So just as I end this post I want to encourage you all to determine who, and what you are living for. There is so much life in Christ, and those who reject Him, reject He who gives them life to live. There is so much love, and life in Jesus, and I just encourage you to search Him out, find out for yourself who Jesus really is. His word is truth, so I want to invite along with Jesus to search out His word, and believe in Him, and even lean on Him.

Be O so blessed!!!

---Intercession---

Lord God, I just ask that You would strike our hearts, and our minds with visions of You, and please just show us, and reveal to us Jesus. I love You so much, and I ask that You would pour out Your Spirit over us, and reveal Jesus! Lord we love You! You are so so good! Thank You for caring for us so intensely that You would die for us. Jesus You truly are the Lover of our souls! We love You Jesus! In Jesus' Name. Please continue to remind us of our-desperate-need for You. Amen.

Bless the LORD!

What Everyone Wants To Know.

-Meditation-
Colossians 1:9

--TheSecretPlace--

To continue to look at this verse I just want to focus on this prayer that Paul and timothy never ceased to pray.

"And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding"

A few things blow me away just by reading this verse.

One thing is that to know God's will is one thing that almost every single person wants to know, and you could probably go up to an unbeliever, and if you told them that you knew God's will for their lives they would want to know. The knowledge of God, and of God's will is a very valuable thing, and Paul and Timothy devoted themselves to praying this without ceasing they say, and to pray this prayer without ceasing is simply amazing, because their hearts desire was to be in, live in, and know the will of God-meaning that they would rather have His will than their own, and it is also amazing because to pray this prayer without ceasing is to devote yourself, and your prayers, and pretty much all you do to (being filled with) the knowledge of God.
What would it look like for even a small company of people to go after the knowledge of God with an unceasing cry in their hearts to know God.
To know God is our greatest calling, and it is our destiny to know Christ Jesus just as we are fully known by Him(1 Cor. 13:12), and even the journey to knowing Him, and searching after Him makes us more aware of what He is doing, and it really ignites a fire within our hearts to love Him, and know Him-Jesus-just as He is.

When we come to know Him more we really love Him more, and our fleshly desires, and sinful desires die more and more because the closer to the PURE ONE you get the more like HIM(pure) you become.

We desperately need to be filled with the knowledge of God's will, this is one of those prayers that you want to be praying continually, and we know it is a good true thing to pray, because it is indeed IN SCRIPTURE.

Paul, and Timothy's reason to pray was to be filled with the knowledge of God, and knew that they grew closer to Him with every prayer they prayed. God hears all of our prayers, and He is a God to act on behalf of our prayers, no matter if we see the results of our prayers, or not. He is in control of what we know, and what we do not know in the heavenlies.

Please let me know your thoughts on this verse, and share with me, or with someone about how the LORD is revealing Himself to you, or get someone to pray for you to be able to receive all that God has for you.

Remember that everyone wants to know Gods will, and the LORD is making it available for You to know His will, and really over all His Word reveals to us that it is His will that ULTIMATELY we would know and love Him- And be loved by Him. Thankfully we are fully capable of walking in the will of God for our lives. My prayer for you is that even through the hard times, that you would have strength to persevere, and to press on to know Christ even when He seems so far away. Know that the Holy Spirit dwells in those who believe in Jesus, and those who have faith in Him, and those who repent of their sins. What a divine gift!

Be so BLESSED!

---Intercession---

Jesus, You are so wonderful, and wonderful does not even begin to describe how wonderful you are! You are the One I live for, and I ask that You would just fill Your people with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding in the knowledge of you, and I pray that you would enlighten the eyes of our hearts. We love You! YOU ARE WORTHY OF ALL OF OUR PRAISE!
Thank You Lord Jesus. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Bless the LORD.

The Knowledge Of His Will.

-Meditation-
Colossians 1:9

--TheSecretPlace--

Hello all! My heart is so stirred about what the LORD is doing in the earth, and in Dothan right now. I just see how the LORD is moving among His people, and just how He is stirring so many people there for what He is doing as we are getting closer and closer to the end of the age, yes, but also for how He wants to break in with power to His people even now, and how even before Jesus comes back, we need to be found faithful, and true. I love the move of God, and I love how He is really even now giving, and anointing His people with boldness, and a hunger for His Word, and for truth. We are slowly but surely taking our stand as the Bride of Christ, and will not be satisfied with merely what others say about Jesus, but we will be ones to search Him out for who He is because we really do want to know Him.
That is truly amazing.

This scripture really is one of my favorites, and the LORD really just uses this verse to minister to my heart, as He uses it to minister to the hearts of many. So it is my prayer that the LORD will minister to you in His word, just as He has ministered to me so faithfully through it.

As I read the very first line as it says: "And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you..."

And the first thing that came to my mind is 1 Thes. 5:17, which says to pray without ceasing, and I just thought about how we are all instructed, and called as the people of God to pray without ceasing, we are called, and instrcted to call upon the Name of the LORD JESUS without stop. We have the privilege to call upon GOD just the way we are to have fellowship with Holy Spirit, and Jesus even said in Matthew 7:7 "Ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you."
Which means to ask and keep on asking, seek and keep on seeking, knock and keep on knocking.
This is the call to intercession, intercessors aren't just a few people the LORD chooses because they have this really weighty burden from the LORD, but He has chosen ALL of His people to be intercessors, we are all called to pray without ceasing. One reason it seems so foreign to so many is because so few people actually walk in intercession, few actually walk as intercessors.
I believe that is about to change. I believe the LORD is raising up companies of intercessors, and He is revealing His heart for intercession, for PRAYER to many many people. Prayer is what fills the bowls of incense in heaven, and it is what fuels the fire in our hearts. Prayer is a gift-that WE-weak and broken people-get to talk with, and fellowship with Holy Spirit! With GOD!

It is His pure desire that we come to Him in prayer. With humble hearts, and with willing hearts to fellowship with Him. This is so amazing.

At times we all grow weak, and we feel so incapable of even lifting our eyes to the LORD, but it is in that place of weakness that He still meets with us, that is the place where He can usually move freely in the most amazing ways, although I believe that no matter what the LORD does it is the MOST AMAZING-because He is the Most Amazing, Most High God, so all that He does reflects who He is.

How can we begin to cry out to Him in prayer without ceasing? How can we take our continual stand before the throne of God with confidence, and boldness?

I believe #1 That there is absolutely NO formula for this to happen in our lives.
I do not think that we have to be on our faces, and bowing our heads and closing our eyes every moment of the day to pray, that would restrict us from actually walking with God, we must have our times of prayer in our day, but here I think that this means having a continual fellowship with God, with Holy Spirit. It means to be listening to His voice throughout the day- to be sensitive to His leading, and to walk in His ways. Those are some of what I think practical ways to pray without ceasing, but as I said there is no formula way to pray without ceasing you just have to do it, the way the LORD leads you to do it, but the most important thing is that you do it. We need to have prayer lives we need to be fully immersed in the presence of God. We need fellowship with our maker-He made us to fellowship with Him, and that is why when we don't continually pray as He instructs us to in His Word, we become dependant on our flesh, and not the Holy Spirit.

I want to challenge you, and myself to get into your prayer closet, and set yourself apart to the LORD in whatever way you need to do that. He is our strong tower, and in Him we find rest, and peace, and we are strengthened in our inner man to depend on God, and to listen to His voice. When we get to the place of prayer the LORD makes Himself known to us in ways we would never expect.

ALSO as we begin to walk in the knowledge that the LORD instructs us to pray without ceasing we take on prayer with a different mindset, like it is a lifestyle of prayer. O that we would cultivate a lifestyle of prayer, and a lifestyle of  fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

So back to where we left off.

Colossians 1:9

"And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of God in all spiritual wisdom and
understanding,"

Paul and Timothy both focused on the things that they knew were important to pray without ceasing. They did not focus on "God, I really want a cool skateboard, and some Cd's, so please give me this stuff so that I can skateboard for you, and listen to these Cd's to your glory!"
Even though those things can be used to God's glory, they did not focus on their wants, or themselves, but their focus was on what the LORD desired, and what He stirred them to pray for, and that doesn't mean don't pray for blessings, but lets make it our goal to focus on God in prayer, and to focus on how He wants us to move closer to His heart, and how He wants us to pray for others to move closer to His heart.

Lets make it our ceaseless cry to the LORD that He would even fill us with the knowledge of His will in ALL spiritual wisdom, and understanding.

I will be spending more time on this verse tomorrow, but as we wait for tomorrow to roll around dig into this verse! Find these verses in the word that are prayers, and that you can form your own prayers after.
The LORD is moving, and I believe we are the people He has chosen to partner with in this hour!!! And that is such a HIGH HONOR!!! How blessed are we to be living in this hour that we would get to pray for, and usher in the second coming of Jesus. Our prayers go up before the throne of God, so I encourage you to make ceaseless prayer as the LORD instructs His people to. Be so blessed this day, and my prayer for you is that your heart would  be ignited with the fire of God.

Be blessed Children of God.

---Intercession---

Jesus, You are the hope of glory, and right now we want to make this our ceaseless cry that you would fill us, Your bride, Your people with the spirit of wisdom, and revelation, and that You would also fill us with the knowledge of your will in all spiritual wisdom, and understanding. Jesus we love You. Thank You for loving us. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

In Our Face

-Meditation-
Jeremiah 1:9-10

--TheSecretPlace--

Today will be the last day in this passage of scripture--unless the LORD leads me further in it-but as far as I know this is my conclusion to this passage, and I'm sure I will be coming back to this.

As I have read into this passage I have been so blown away at the creative hand of God, and how amazing His leadership is.

As I was reading over this today, and I thought upon it, and meditated on this last little portion of this big portion of scripture I just thought about how the LORD will do what needs to be done in us to pull us into His will. He is so kind to us, and His love reaches out to us in every way, and I think that is one reason why Jeremiah was so pulled into the will of God because of His kindness in His correcting. Revelation 3:19 says:
"Those whom I love, I correct, and discipline, so be zealous and repent''
And so here you can just see the LORD's loving kindness even minister to Jeremiah's heart, and sometimes when the LORD corrects us, we don't like it, so in our minds He is attacking us, but He is a loving Father, and still at the same time a burning jealous Bridegroom. So however the LORD deals with us I am just stirred that He comes after us, because He loves us, and when we understand that we can so easily respond to Him. So many have this picture of an angry grouchy God who is mad at everyone for being sinners, but He is a kind, gentle, and compassionate. He takes us as we are, and welcomes us into His embrace with open arms.

It is just so amazing the depths even the LORD is willing to go to win our hearts, and to anoint His people with boldness. It blows me away how the LORD spoke to Jeremiah, and He put His words in Jeremiah's mouth, and He so delighted to do so-because He loved Jeremiah.

Also, because it is on the LORD's heart to bring us, and pull us into His will, we need to have open and willing hearts to do be zealous and repent in the areas we need to repent, and we need to open up our hearts to what the LORD has for us to do. He speaks to us in different ways, and however He is speaking to you, and whatever He is calling you to do, are you open? Are you willing to let Jesus pull you into the center of His will? Are you willing to let Him ignite your heart no matter what?
The LORD wants to do this in us by filling us with Holy Spirit. When Jesus left He said that He would send a comforter who is the Holy Spirit, and we can daily be filled with the Holy Spirit with fire, and the LORD wants to fill you. He wants you to reach your full potential in the LORD. The Holy Spirit gives us words to speak, He gives us ears to hear, and eyes to see, and He gives us strength to contend and intercede.

The call on your life is extraordinary, and the amazing thing is, is that you, and I both, need the Holy Spirit to do whatever we do in life, whatever our calling may be we need to be filled with the Holy Spirit, whether you are a garbage man, or a pastor, or the waitress at Apple Bee's. And the amazing thing is, that no matter what you are doing, when you are following the call of God on your life, then that is a divine calling, and with that calling you need anointing, even if you don't have a name, and even if you have a lowly job, in the LORD's eyes you have an important job, because you are His child.

I just want to call you, and encourage you that no matter where you are in life, to go deep in your calling, go deep in the LORD, He has called us to be intercessors, and OVER ALL! We are called to love Him, and be loved by Him, and there is nothing greater to go deep into than the love of God.

---Intercession---

Jesus, I just thank You for how you bring us into the center of Your will, I just pray, and I ask that You would wake us up, and reveal who You are to us. I pray for those who do not fully understand that You just want us to love You, and be loved by You, and I pray that You would open the eyes of their hearts to understand, and to know what is needed, and that is to love you, and be loved by you. Thank You Lord for this divine call to love, and I just ask that You would our hearts to love You, and to just soak in the fact that You love us. Love You Jesus! In Jesus' Name. Amen

Blessings!!

By HIM We Are Free.

-Meditation-
Jeremiah 1:8

"Do not be afraid of them(men), for I am with you(the LORD's presence) to deliver you, declares the LORD."

--TheSecretPlace--

The first thing I want to talk about concerning this scripture, and Jeremiah is the fact that Jeremiah was a sinful human being, and he realized that, and also realized his need for salvation-and/or- atonement for his sin, and so the LORD addresses that here in this passage. The LORD speaks to Jeremiah by His VOICE, which is already pretty amazing, and the LORD tells him
"Do not be afraid of them. for I am with you to deliver you-to SAVE you!"
And that is an amazing thing. This was before Jesus came to earth as a baby, it was before they had the Holy Spirit, and it was before they had baptism of any sort, so here God tells Jeremiah that no matter what happens, be assured you are already delivered, before anything even happens, do not FEAR, because they are defeated, and YOU have eternal life.
For us the LORD doesn't tell us that we aren't going to be saved from dying here on earth, because whether you want to believe it or not, we are going to die, whether it be by martyrdom, a freak accident, or if you just pass away one night while you are sleeping. We will die, but the LORD here is telling Jeremiah, and He tells us over and over-DO NOT FEAR-I AM WITH YOU.
DO NOT FEAR-I WILL DELIVER YOU.
Jeremiah feared man, but when the LORD spoke His words over him of deliverance, and He touched His mouth, and put His words in Jeremiah's mouth, Jeremiah didn't say anything more here about fearing-Why? Because the LORD dispelled Jeremiah's fear, and Jeremiah did not turn back to his own will, and his own way, he didn't continue through the whole book saying "I am only a youth, and I don't feel like risking my life for you LORD, can you go to the guy down the road? He has grey hair and a beard and everything." But instead he walked in the will of the LORD for his life, and trusted in His leadership.

What a great example-
We all have mountains to move, and we all have battles to fight, but when Jeremiah came to the LORD with all of his junk, there was a divine trade that occurred. Jeremiah no longer held to his weaknesses, but instead he made it a lifestyle(his way of life) to cling to the LORD's strength.
This is what we were all made to do, and how blessed are we to know that the LORD's patience does not wear thin, and He is just waiting to trade us His strength for our many many weaknesses!

Now we ourselves can know for sure that the LORD has delivered us as well! When Jesus died on the cross, He made the final devine trade, and now we ALL have access to Jesus! And just as Jeremiah had full assurance in the LORD's voice, and the LORD's hand, we need, and I mean we really need to in the same way leave all of our baggage behind, and lean on the LORD's strength.
Now by His hand and His voice by Holy Spirit, He will lead us into all truth!!

There is one more thing I want to cover before I turn the cpu off, and that is that in Jesus there is NO reason for worry, and fear->Whoever the Son sets free is free indeed. When we choose to fear and to worry we are choosing to put our trust in the things we are worried, and afraid of, and about. We need to make it our habit to say no to trusting in man, and say yes to trusting in the voice, and the hand of the LORD, because when we do that we truly will be led into all truth, and that is such a gift.

I pray that you would be blessed in all of this, and I hope all of you are walking in the LORD's plan for your life, and if you are not my prayer is that you would search out His will so that you may have assurance in what the plan of the LORD for your life is, and that you would be content with being a lover of God, and being loved by God.

---Intercession---

Jesus, I want to thank You for your kindness, and how You minister so gently to our hearts, I just ask that throughout the earth You would continue to call forth prophets like Jeremiah, and that we would all be able to understand that in You we are all called LOVED by God and LOVERS of God. Thank You so much Jesus for Your faithfulness, and Your kindness. You are good. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Be Blessed in the Name of the LORD!

Even When You Feel Weak.

-Meditation-
Jeremiah 1:7

--TheSecretPlace--

The LORD just as He called Jeremiah has called each and everyone of us to do a great work, and right now I want to focus on the one thing we are all called to do, and that is to love God, and be loved by God. That is really His plan, and His will for our lives-that we would love Him, and be loved by Him, because when we walk in just the state of loving God, and being loved by Him our days begin to brighten up, and through the hard times, we are strengthened, because His love is what carries us on.

What is it going to take for us to realize that loving God, and being loved by Him is the greatest calling? So many times a day our focus is on other things, like our appearance, and our job title. I believe the LORD is wanting a people to be content to be LOVERS OF GOD. When we walk in our identity we are uniquely energized in our spirits to be bold, and to be all that we were created to be. I want to walk in my identity as one who belongs to the LORD, because no one else can claim my life, because the LORD has already done that. He has paid the highest price so that I may be HIS. I belong to no one else, and that is the greatest gift. I get to spend the rest of my life being known by God, and knowing God.

The LORD wants us to understand the joy in that, and He wants us all to enter into that reality every day of our lives.

When the LORD calls us it is so easy to throw up our doubts, and we without trying push away what the LORD has for us, but the LORD's response is that He knows what He is doing. So why bother talking Him out of what He knows is what is best for our lives. I don't know what the LORD is calling you to do, and sometimes what He calls us to do is not really what we want to step out and do FIRST, sometimes we say, 'well.... I can obey you AFTER I....'
But who are we to underestimate the LORD? He knows what He is doing.

We have a choice when He calls us to obedience...
We could either
A)Submit to His will and plan....
OR
B)Reject His will and plan for what we think is best(-not smart-)

There is no A1/2 We can't be lukewarm in this, we either follow Him, or we don't.

If we do choose to submit to His plan, then one thing we have to constantly remind ourselves to do, and what we need to continually do is trust in HIS leadership. We must realize that we cannot accomplish any good thing without submission to the LORD's leading. I have tried to be spiritual by myself, and it does not work. Our options remain the same-Surrender completely to Jesus, or try to earn His approval, but I want you to know that in Christ, you are 100% approved, and perfect in His sight. You do not have to try to please God with what you do, just by being yourself He is pleased by you.

This is a crucial thing I believe to walk in, and I hope all of you grab hold of what the LORD is calling you to do. He could use you to change the world, or those around you at least. The LORD is with those who call on Him.

---Intercession---

Jesus, please make yourself known to us LORD, You are so good, and I just ask that You would reveal Jesus to us Holy Spirit. We love You. In Jesus Name.Amen

Be Blessed in the Lord Jesus.
