Forerunners Announce The Second Coming of Jesus

Today’s hollow programs, prayerlessness, and preaching of a false gospel of cheap grace will not prepare believers for the coming revival of glory or the encroaching storm of darkness. There is a great need for the prophetic voice of forerunners who will speak with clarity into the confusion.

Forerunners announce the second coming of Jesus as well as the great revival and pressures that are directly related to His return. Forerunners emphasize Jesus’ second coming, while proclaiming and manifesting the power of Jesus’ first coming as they win the lost, heal the sick, help the poor, and walk in love and holiness. We will develop this more in other sessions.

The Spirit is preparing forerunners from many streams in the Body of Christ worldwide. At onething 2008 5,000 young adults made the 7 commitments of a forerunner that is called the Sacred Charge. The forerunner calling is not reserved for the elite; it is available to anyone who wants it.

End-time forerunners can find inspiration and instruction from New Testament forerunners like John the Baptist, the first apostles, and the seventy disciples, who all announced the first coming of Jesus to their generation (Mt. 10:5-8; Lk. 9:1-2; 10:1). John the Baptist functioned as a forerunner by announcing the coming of Jesus as well as the glory and pressures that would result from it in that generation (Lk. 3:3-9, 16-18).

The apostles functioned as forerunners in two ways. First, they announced the first coming of Jesus to the cities of Israel (Lk. 9:1-6). Second, they proclaimed the second coming of Jesus and the resulting glory and pressures (Acts 3:19-21; 2 Pet. 3; 1. 4-5; 2 Thes. 1-2; Rev. 6-19).

Today’s forerunners will imitate the message of John the Baptist and the apostles by proclaiming the first coming of Jesus and the salvation accomplished by it, as well as proclaiming the second coming of Jesus and the unique dynamics created by events that will accompany it.

Forerunners will imitate the lifestyle of John and the apostles as they pray, fast, and go deep in the Word, while at the same time winning the lost, healing the sick, making disciples, church planting, and operating in the power of the Spirit to meet the needs of people. As they proclaim the Word and do the works of the kingdom, they glorify Jesus and deliver the oppressed; by the very same activity they are being prepared for even more in the years ahead.

The Sacred Charge has set up these 7-easy to remember-commitments of a forerunner, which take time and effort. Here they are:

§ Pray Daily: connecting with God while changing the world by releasing His power.

§ Fast Weekly: positioning ourselves to receive more from God by fasting two days a week.

§ Do Justly: being zealous for good works of compassion and justice that exalt Jesus as we
impact the seven spheres of society.

§ Give Extravagantly: experiencing the joy of financial power encounters as we sacrificially
give to the kingdom and support the prayer movement.

§ Live Holy: living fascinated in the pleasure of loving God that overflows to loving people.

§ Lead Diligently: taking initiative to minister to others and make disciples by regularly leading
in outreaches, prayer meetings, and Bible studies.

§ Speak Boldly: being a faithful witness of the truth with allegiance to Jesus’ Word.

These seven commitments are not a comprehensive list covering the entire Christian life—they are a few practical activities that will prepare us to walk out the forerunner ministry. These seven commitments are cultivated step by step, day by day, year after year. We cannot treat them as optional, as activities to do when they are convenient and when nothing else is going on. We are to see them as sacred, or valuable to us, even when other opportunities come our way. Will you be one who responds in a wholehearted way? Will you set your heart to say yes?

Forerunners must hear what the Spirit is saying to them in this hour and act on it. It is time for them to seek to live with a new depth of obedience and responsiveness to the Spirit. Even in this hour, the Lord is now calling some to embrace a season of rigorous preparation that will equip them to more effectively proclaim the forerunner message in the midst of the coming pressures.

I want to challenge you to ask the Lord how He wants you to partner with Him as a forerunner(or as I like to say a harbinger) in this hour of need for revival, and awakening. Your partnership matters to Him, and He acts on behalf of your prayers. He does many things for those who ask that He wouldn't have done if they did not ask. Examine your life, and change areas that need changing. Surrender the things in your heart, and in your life that you are clinging to. Right now is the best time for you to surrender, and then continue to walk out your surrender by keeping your hands off of what is now the Lord's. He will take your grief, sadness, heaviness, and ashes and He will give you Beauty, Joy, and garments of praise. It really is the divine exchange of love. So why hold on when you were meant, and you need to let go! =]

Lord Jesus thank you so much for all who are reading this. I ask Father in the Name of Your Son would You make your Name known to Your Bride. I thank you that You do act for those who wait for You(Is.64:4). We love You so SO MUCH LORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In Jesus' Name. Amen

The Greatest Revival In All Human History

We stand at a critical juncture in our nation’s history. The Holy Spirit is visiting His people with power as darkness continues to increase. The light is getting brighter as the darkness is becoming darker. The onslaught of darkness is increasing in our classrooms, boardrooms, courtrooms, and bedrooms. The Spirit is speaking clearly and many are responding with wholeheartedness.

2 Behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the LORD will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. (Isa. 60:2)

The greatest revival and crisis in history is soon to come. It is darkest before the dawn and so our hearts remain full of faith. We know that a great awakening is soon to sweep across the nations. We look with confidence to God’s promises to pour out His Spirit on all flesh to empower His people to bring the gospel to all nations. What a privilege to live in this awesome hour of history!

17 It shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams…18 I will pour out My Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy…

20 before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD. (Acts 2:17-20)

14 This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. (Mt. 24:14)

9 I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne… (Rev. 7:9)

The Spirit is speaking about this outpouring and crisis. We are already in the early days of the great end-time outpouring of the Spirit. In this great revival the Spirit will release the miracles seen in the book of Acts and the book of Exodus combined and multiplied on a global scale.

Consider the crisis that is at hand. The nations are living under the threat of natural disasters, terrorism, lawlessness, and war (Mt. 24:4-12). Radical Islam is growing more intolerant as they seek global domination while Western governments are growing more tolerant as they legalize perversion and darkness. The result is that fear is quickly becoming more and more prevalent.

26 Men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things… (Lk. 21:26)

Abortion continues to kill 4,000 babies each day in America. The sanctity of marriage has come under siege, threatening to destroy the moral foundations of our nation. Sexual immorality, both heterosexual and homosexual, is reaching epic heights of depravity, with easy access to pornography via the Internet and the hyper-sexualization of our culture promoted by the media. Entire school systems are giving way to this darkness. The number of women and children being trafficked in the sex industry is growing at an alarming rate. The list could go on and on.

There is another growing crisis that is emerging in many churches across America. A new wave of confusion is systematically seducing young adults into deception. Sincere believers, once ablaze for Jesus, are being allured into compromise on biblical truths and practices.

The true danger of this new kind of “Christianity” is obscured by the works of compassion and justice that its followers are engaged in. There is no amount of ministry activity that can “balance out” the profound spiritual compromises that many are embracing. They are doing more and more in the name of justice and compassion, but less and less in the name of Jesus. In the name of tolerance they are settling for politically correct theology that trivializes Jesus’ glory. Our works of compassion and justice must flow from allegiance to Jesus and His Word.

A theological crisis is emerging across America that will perplex many who will be unable to discern between truth and deception (1 Tim. 4:1-3). The Scriptures are clear that many will fall away and depart from the faith in the midst of the crisis, as fear, offense, and deception abound (Mt. 24:9-13; Lk. 21:26; 2 Thes. 2:3; 1 Tim. 4:1-2; 2 Tim. 3:1-7; 4:3-5; 2 Pet. 2:1-3).

The greatest revival in America’s history is coming even as our nation stands on such precarious footing. The onslaught of darkness is increasing in our classrooms, boardrooms, courtrooms, and bedrooms. Confusion is pouring forth from many pulpits and from the halls of Washington. It is time for the uncompromising voice of forerunners to speak clearly in the midst of so much confusion. Yes, it is time to draw a line in the sand and to take a bold stand for truth.

We live in a very significant hour of history. I believe we are in the time described in the Scripture as the “beginning of sorrows,” or “the beginning of birth pains,” that precedes the Great Tribulation (Mt. 24:4-8, 21). The Bible tells us that during the Great Tribulation, sin will become fully ripe with unprecedented and unimaginable levels of sin (Rev. 14:18).

21 They did not repent of their murders, sorceries, sexual immorality or their thefts. (Rev. 9:21)

I want to encourage you to search out the Word of God concerning the End-Times. We MUST be prepared to stand as faithful witnesses in these final days, months, and years before our Lord Jesus comes back. The world, and the powers of darkness are challenging believers across our nations and the nations of the earth to deny our Lord, but we must remain faithful, standing on the truth of the Word of God and the LORD our God who is our ROCK that cannot be broken.

Lord I thank you for this honor to partner with you in intercession in these last days as you begin to pour out your Spirit. We ask you Father, in the Name of Your Son Jesus, that you would pour out your Spirit on all flesh that our sons and daughters would prophesy, that the young men would see visions and the old men dream dreams. Do what Your heart desires Dad. We love You so much! God would You write Your Word on our hearts as we search it out. In Jesus' Holy Name. Amen and Amen

Jesus we love you!

Life is Short

Life on earth is so short! All we have is at the most 80-90 years, and how we live our short short lives here->AFFECTS THE REST OF OUR LIVES IN ETERNITY. We will live forever. [in scripture God clearly gives eternal life to mankind alone. He desires you, and He desires me to be with Him forever]

Here is my thought.

If you and I are going to live forever, and everything we do on this earth has everything to do with how we will live in the age to come-Why would we give ourselves to anyone or anything before we give ourselves wholly to Jesus Christ?

Why would you try to figure out a guy or a girl before you gave yourself to figuring out, and searching out the deep things of God?

Why would you give your time to video games, and the internet when you could be setting your heart, and your EYES on things above.

Psalm 119:37
Turn my eyes away from worthless things, O God, and preserve my life according to YOUR WORD.

So my question to you, and to myself is this: Do we know His Word? Have we given ourselves to know Him like He wants us to? That is with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength.

Are our eyes on worthless things? When our gaze is on worthless things we blind ourselves to the beauty of God. The BEAUTY OF JESUS.
->He deserves our full(time-day and night) gaze
Have we begun to enter into the place of loving Jesus with all we are.

Here is the challenge

Will we do whatever it takes to take our eyes off of ourselves, and give our gaze to Jesus?
What will it take?

I want to challenge you to examine your life, and ask the Lord to reveal any area of sin in your life that you need to deal with in the way He wants you to deal with, and then deal with it.
Maybe you just need to get into a more disciplined schedule so that you can spend more time with Him.
Whatever it takes and whatever is necessary is what He wants from us to come closer to His heart. So that you and I may know Him, and enter into the knowledge of God into eternity.
Let us join together in cutting out those things that hinder us from love.

Song of Solomon 8:6-7
6Set me as a seal upon your heart,
as a seal upon your arm,
for love is strong as death,
jealousy is fierce as the grave.
Its flashes are flashes of fire,
the very flame of the LORD.
7Many waters cannot quench love,
neither can floods drown it.
If a man offered for love
all the wealth of his house,
he would be utterly despised.

A Day in His Chambers

--->Meditation: Song of Solomon 1:4:

Draw me after you; let us run. The King has brought me into His chambers. We will exult and rejoice in You; we will extol(remember) Your LOVE more than wine; rightly do they love You.

--->Revelation -The King has brought me into His chambers.

Today I was amazed as I came to the LORD in His word. I find when I first get into His word through meditation(long & loving as Mike Bickle says) I enter into seeing the Lord with clear eyes, and I find myself overwhelmed by the love of Jesus-even when I don't feel anything. So today I came before Him reading and meditating on the simple phrase 'the king has brought me into His chambers' I began to talk to Him about it and He shared with me what I am going to share with you today.

The King's chambers referring to Jesus as our King and the secret place His chambers for me is that place of deep fellowship with Him, the place where He so intimately whispers to our hearts what is really on His mind. His desires. His passion. The chambers of our King Jesus is the place where we choose what is better instead of doing 'other' things we choose to sit at His feet, and in response to our humility He makes His love known to the ones He loves-You and I! His chamber is where He deeply makes Himself known. His chamber is the deepest place of His heart reserved for the hungry heart of man. The things He makes known to the children of man in this place are the things even angels wonder about, the things they long to look into. The fellowship between God and His people is friendship beyond what any mind could ever imagine.

There is nothing greater in this life than to be loved by the King of kings and LORD of lords. His grace and mercy and love are freely given to those who are in need-those who are seeking, and loving Him wholeheartedly. Why would we settle for less as He invites us to this place of encounter-whether it is dramatic or it seems like you are somehow missing it. His invitation to His people, His bride I believe is to just receive His love, and to live in Him. To know Him.

The secret place is more than a requirement of Christianity- it is where we come into knowing Jesus, it is the place where we find who we are, what we were made for, and how He wants us to live. The foundations are laid in love as we seek the Lord in this place. The invitation to love Jesus is to give everything to Him in wholehearted obedience.

He loves to make Himself known to the ones He loves.

Putting my hands back to the clay

For a little while now I have taken a break from posting as you may have noticed. Even though this is true the LORD has still been showing new aspects of Himself, and old aspects of myself the I have been unaware of. In showing me those old aspects of myself, thankfully, He has been helping me to die to those old ways and take on His new ways. I am very thankful for what the Lord has been doing in my life. Even though I mess up constantly His grace covers me still, and He shows me how to 'get better' and receive forgiveness, and mercy.

Yesterday the Lord really moved my heart, and reminded me how much I LOVE TO WRITE!!! =] And how much He loves me to write also! I feel His delight over me as I write on this blog once again, and simply do one little thing I love to do for Him. I know that even though this is a small small thing He loves it and will use it to move His kingdom. I found yesterday that for the Azusa Street Revival, which was 100 years ago, Frank Bartleman daily wrote, and journal-ed about what the Lord was doing in the revival . I also found that Frank B., even before the revival began, would daily write/journal in some sort of paper that people read. The reason I mention this is because the Lord in showing me this gave me such excitement and confidence that I am hearing Him right in doing this blog. It is amazing how one little journal this man named Frank Bartleman faithfully kept over the years before and during this great revival impacted many lives for the Kingdom of God!! Because he faithfully wrote so many heard of what the Lord was doing, and by hearing their faith was stirred-kindling a passion for the supernatural God we were made for!!

Though I say all of this in excitement, and expectation I know that keeping this blog will be really hard. Still, because of the days we are living in I know the LORD is calling me to take note of what He is doing, and even what He is showing me in the secret place. I realize that it doesn't even matter if anyone reads this! This blog is for the LORD! So I am really blessed because He reads it. =] Just thought I would throw that in here. I do want to ask all who read to be praying that the Lord would continue to call me to write, and even for the saints in our city, nation, and the earth to answer the call of God on their lives. I have heard so many a time that it just takes one person for the Lord to use to start revival-even though He could start revival with no one at all- I want to encourage us to just live in obedience, and wholehearted love to Him. The Lord is faithful to those who remain faithful to Him.

I will be posting everyday as much as possible.

My Revelation To Share.

=]
I can't resist.

Song Of Solomon 1:4

Draw me after you; let us run. The king has brought me into his chambers. We will exult and rejoice in you; we will extol(remember) your love more than wine; rightly do they love you.

RIGHTLY DO THEY LOVE YOU!!

I have been meditating on this scripture, and one thing the Lord has shown me is that no matter what I am doing or how I feel about Him or even what I think He thinks about me if I am loving Him according to His command I am right before Him!! Think about it search it out.

What does this mean?

For me, I am always striving to be right before the LORD, and sometimes I get really stressed out because I think I am not making Him think I am right or I feel like I have messed up too much to be right before Him even after I confess and repent. (He has been killing that old mindset in me) I have found in this little phrase in Song of Solomon that it doesn't matter what I have done, but as I love Him with all my heart -according to His Word- He finds my heart in total righteousness! He is the God who is LOVE who keeps NO RECORD OF WRONG!!

This alone blows my mind.

He loves me-He loves US! MORE THAN WE KNOW!!

ha ha. =] He just makes me happy!

So! Let's dig once again! And follow Jesus on this path we are on!

From the desk of Lou Engle:

Friends,

Recently, I sent out an urgent call to prayer concerning the healthcare bill. I received some constructive feedback challenging me to look at the situation of the poor and those who cannot afford healthcare. I want to clarify that I believe there must healthcare reform. As believers, we need to identify deeply with the agonizing injustice that the poor, and those dealing with overwhelming medical situations face everyday as they encounter the exorbitant cost of healthcare in it's present form.

The Funding of Abortion

We must pray for our leaders that God would give them wisdom to handle the complexities of healthcare in a compassionate and just way. However, the main premise of my appeal was that we cannot allow a healthcare system that helps the poor yet allows for systemic abortion to be mainstreamed in society. President Obama recently declared on a phone call to christian leaders across the nation that federally funded abortion is not in this healthcare bill, but that is not true. Seven amendments were put forward in the Senate and the House that would not permit tax payer funded abortions in the healthcare plan. All of them were rejected. All the President needs to do to confirm his word is to declare that he will veto every healthcare plan that includes the funding of abortion. I would not expect that to happen because the funding of abortion is part and parcel of the whole agenda.

It's Time

As believers, we must insist on compassion for the poor without compromising the moral absolutes of the sacredness of life from conception to death. I will be sending out a statement on this issue once again before the September 8th reconvening of our government leaders in D.C. It's a time to pray and it's a time to raise our voices.

He loves me.

Lately I have been thinking, and meditating just on this hugely overlooked treasure of how the LORD feels about me, and how He loves me, and all I am for Him, and all I do for Him. And really even though it is good to do things for Him I am more overcome by this simple truth that He loves me no matter what I do, and He is pleased with me more than anything right now. Just the fact that I can sit down and be still and not do anything, and Him be completely overwhelmed that I love Him, and want to be with Him-how amazing is that!

To be loved by God has to be the coolest thing for me right now because even when I get busy, and it's hard to find a moment to just sit and be with Him-He loves me the same, and He doesn't take away any plans He has for my life, but He uses what is going on to write my story down in that little book that He has written all of my days in.
It is an amazing thing. When I get to heaven, and I stand before me-I cannot wait for this-He will tell me how He feels about me, and I will get to hear Him say it to me face to face out loud, and I love this-He only thinks good things about me. Yes He corrects me, and sometimes He rebukes me.... which is not unheard of, but He still loves me the same, and He still feels the same way about me.

So one thing I have to think about is how can I love Him.... in any way even close to the way He loves me, and really I can't think of anything other than what He says He wants from us, and that is wholehearted love.

Wholehearted love moves His heart-even though our love is weak-it moves Him in ways we cannot understand.
I love that!

He just wants us to love Him with everything, and that doesn't mean we have to do all of the ''right'' church required things, and it doesn't really mean that we go out and party all the time, but it just simply means that with all that we are=we focus ourselves on loving Him. And I don't know if that qualifies as a definition, but I know that He just wants our love. So however that looks for you.... for me.... that is all He wants.

That helps me to sleep at night.

I was made for this love.

hmmm.......

That is really cool.
