A Day in His Chambers

--->Meditation: Song of Solomon 1:4:

Draw me after you; let us run. The King has brought me into His chambers. We will exult and rejoice in You; we will extol(remember) Your LOVE more than wine; rightly do they love You.

--->Revelation -The King has brought me into His chambers.

Today I was amazed as I came to the LORD in His word. I find when I first get into His word through meditation(long & loving as Mike Bickle says) I enter into seeing the Lord with clear eyes, and I find myself overwhelmed by the love of Jesus-even when I don't feel anything. So today I came before Him reading and meditating on the simple phrase 'the king has brought me into His chambers' I began to talk to Him about it and He shared with me what I am going to share with you today.

The King's chambers referring to Jesus as our King and the secret place His chambers for me is that place of deep fellowship with Him, the place where He so intimately whispers to our hearts what is really on His mind. His desires. His passion. The chambers of our King Jesus is the place where we choose what is better instead of doing 'other' things we choose to sit at His feet, and in response to our humility He makes His love known to the ones He loves-You and I! His chamber is where He deeply makes Himself known. His chamber is the deepest place of His heart reserved for the hungry heart of man. The things He makes known to the children of man in this place are the things even angels wonder about, the things they long to look into. The fellowship between God and His people is friendship beyond what any mind could ever imagine.

There is nothing greater in this life than to be loved by the King of kings and LORD of lords. His grace and mercy and love are freely given to those who are in need-those who are seeking, and loving Him wholeheartedly. Why would we settle for less as He invites us to this place of encounter-whether it is dramatic or it seems like you are somehow missing it. His invitation to His people, His bride I believe is to just receive His love, and to live in Him. To know Him.

The secret place is more than a requirement of Christianity- it is where we come into knowing Jesus, it is the place where we find who we are, what we were made for, and how He wants us to live. The foundations are laid in love as we seek the Lord in this place. The invitation to love Jesus is to give everything to Him in wholehearted obedience.

He loves to make Himself known to the ones He loves.
