Let's do it!!

Hey hey hey everyone! I have prayed about it, and I have been praying about this blog, and I feel like I am finally getting some direction, and I am so stinkin excited about what the LORD is doing in our city, state, and country. I believe it is our responsibility as Gods people to pursue lives of prayer, and in doing that we really need to be lifting up our nations leaders, and our president. Our country is in great, great need of prayer, and really another wave of revival. I believe that, that is truly what we are lined up for. In the midst of spiritual darkness is usually when God loves to pour out His Spirit, and not just a few sparks in the air, and not a bunch of magic tricks, but He wants to break in with the power of the Holy Spirit that we with our own eyes have not seen, and with our own ears have not heard. Because Jesus is doing a new thing in the earth, and because I believe, and so many others believe that awakening, and revival, and an outpouring of His Spirit is coming, He always raises up forerunners.... John the Baptists, and messengers, and lovesick worshippers to prepare the way, and make the people ready.  As His day is getting closer and closer now more than ever we desperately need to join together in prayer, and in fasting, and do what the LORD has called us to do as His chosen people.

Which brings us to.... (and you are going to want to pull out your Bible now)

Mark 1:1-3

Isaiah 40:3

Before we get into this entire passage, I just want to take a quick look at  Mark 1:2-3....

Behold I send my messenger before your(Jesus') face, who will prepare Your(Jesus) way, the voice of one crying out in the wilderness: 'Prepare the way of the LORD, make His paths straight.'

In Isaiah 40:3 Isaiah prophesies this very thing happening before the day of the LORD at the end of the age, and I believe that when John the Baptist came, he was the fulfilment of this, but only in a small measure, I believe that the LORD right now in the earth is raising up an army of forerunner messengers who will fulfill this end-time prophesy. Because the time is coming, and is really, and hear me when I say this, the time is so near, to when Jesus comes back, if we would just press in a little more, and a little harder, I truly believe that He will open up heaven, split the sky and return to the earth. But He can't come until the people of God cry out, until the way is made straight, until WE take on this calling in Isaiah 40:3.

 

I see 6 steps or requirements(I don't know what you would call them) in this verse that John the Baptist faithfully walked in to prepare the way for the LORD's first coming, and I think that this is what we need to do as the end time church, only intensified like a billion times.... as in the fire, and passion in which we burn for the LORD in. We must take on this verse, and dissect it, and learn it, and get revelation on it, so I just want to charge you to take Mark 1, and Isaiah 40 and charge after revelation on this subject, don't just listen... or read what I write, but figure out what you believe(Acts 17:11).

But anyway, what I see in this verse that we are to walk in....

-To go before His face-(The face of Jesus.)

-To prepare His(Jesus') way.

-To go to the wilderness(to the place of prayer and fasting, in the secret place)

-To cry out(engage our calling as intercessors)

-To prepare the way of the LORD(said twice-- I believe one way we can do this, and the best way to do this- is The Great Commission, to disciple others in the knowledge of God--there are countless ways to prepare the way but discipleship is the most effective way)

-To make His(Jesus) paths straight- I just think this means to welcome the LORD, and make known He is coming back.... I would highly recommend to everyone to read the book of Revelation, and search it out.

I just want to charge you in this, go all out. Take on the forerunner spirit. This doesn't mean you have to shut yourself out from all of the world, or even your friends, it means that in all you do you are focused on Jesus and really what is on His heart, and that is to be one with His Bride which can only be accomplished through His second coming when He will shake everything that can be shaken to get His Bride, but only if we cry out.

So lets continue to press into the LORD and cry out.
