What is Religion?

I have been going through quite a time in life, it has been very challenging. How easy is it to just get worried, and take it into your own hands? Like God doesn't know what He is doing, or He is expecting you to know how to please Him? And I was thinking about how it is so easy to just become religious about what's in the Word, and what we are to do as Christians.

I have my own little definition about being religious--For me it is being legalistic about our convictions.... ouch.

It's kinda when you get into the whole routine thing, and really it messes you up because usually you get into the attitude, and mindset that our time with God is a chore, when it is like the GREATEST HONOR!

I find myself doing this at times, and when you think about it, it really greives the heart of God.

Tomorrow I will be posting daily more, and I just want to stand as an encouragement to you, and push you on to get into the word, and search yourself. 

We, at times, get into these funks where we don't feel passionate about God, or we don't feel like living it out, or having our quiet times, but love it stronger than feelings, I don't think Jesus really wanted to get on that cross that day, but I know that He wanted love more than He cared for the pain He was yet to suffer.

I hope this is making sense, I will be posting this next week on a more focused subject. But I love you guys so much!! And even better the LORD loves you SOOOOOOO MUCH MORE!!!!!
