Never Too Young

-Meditation-
Jeremiah 1:5
"Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you."

--TheSecretPlace--

This statement blows me away. How astounding is it that God, the God of the universe, who is so high and lofty, knew you and I, and took His 'time' to search us out, when we weren't even dust? He did this with each of us, and it is truly astounding. He saw us and sees us as valuable.

When I think about this, I think about how blessed we are to be know by God. God Himself knew us to the point of forming us, He knew His plans for our lives, the lives we were to live, and He knew all of the trials we were-are- to go through, and He knew us, and knows us well enough to help us through those hard times.

He has known us, even before we were conceived He knew us.

This means that He knew our good, and He knew our bad.
He knew our personality.
He knew our strengths, and our weaknesses.
He knew our gifts, and talents.
And He knew our not so talented areas of life.
HE KNEW US, BEFORE HE FORMED US.
He thought about how we were, and WHO we were, until we came to be, and He still thinks about us, and He still knows us the same.

When He knew us BEFORE we were formed, He knew us just as well as He knows us now, AFTER we have been formed, and He actually continues to form us into His likeness, (if we are willing to let Him.)

The LORD knew us before He formed us, He knew our form, and He still couldn't help but to love us with all that He is, and the amazing thing is that He loved us so much, even though He knew how weak, and fragile we are, and how we are so weak in all that we do. He even loved us to the point of death-because He wanted us to know Him-Just as we are known. And before mankind came to be, Jesus even knew that He was going to die on the cross.
He loved us to the point of death!
His sacrifice was a very real thing,  Jesus hung on a cross for over 12 hours, and suffered greatly, was ridiculed, and bore ALL OF OUR SINS--When we should have been the ones to die on the cross, but because HE KNEW US, and loved us, and He knew and loved those of us who hadn't been formed(YOU AND I)===He bore our sins on the cross. This is the God who knew us before we were formed. O to be known by this God of LOVE!

He made Himself weak, so that we may have access to Him.

---Intercession---

Jesus, thank you that You knew us, and loved us to the point where You would die for us, Your sacrifice brings us life, and brings life to those who are dead. Jesus I just pray that You would wake us up, wake up Your bride, we have been sleeping for far too long, and You are saying that it is time to wake up, and prepare the way for Your second coming, because You want to bring justice, and make things right, and so I thank You LORD, and ask that You would send the rain of Your Holy Spirit, and that You would send a great outpouring of Your LOVE, and the prophetic, so that we may walk in fellowship with You, and with one another. Please help us to love You, and to love others well. In Jesus Name.

Be blessed!

Keep On--Pressing In

-Meditation-
Moses---The book of Exodus.

--TheSecretPlace--

The LORD  made Moses to be an intercessor for Israel, it is amazing to me that Moses, and Aaron  had a God ordained cause on their lives, and did not relent in their pursuit of that cause, and that was that Israel would be set free. It blows me away, because we also just as Moses, and Aaron have a God ordained cause on our lives, that we are to pursue with all that we are, whatever it may be. And the LORD loves to be pursued by us. There is almost nothing, actually I don't think anything pleases Him more than His people pursuing Him with burning hearts. And we have been called to do just that, to pursue the LORD with burning hearts.

What strikes me in the story of Moses is how he, and Aaron did not stop going to Pharaoh until he let Israel go, and once Moses and Aaron had been faithful with pursuing the Pharaoh to let them go, God set them free, but at a high price. It wasn't easy for them to get out of Egypt, actually that had to have been one of the most dramatic, horrible times of the Israelites lives, they lived in the DESERT for 40 years, and finally got into the promise land, after the generation of Moses had died.

How amazing.

This story just reminds me of how the LORD right now is putting mandates on peoples hearts, and how He is stirring His people to unrelentingly pursue the Him, with all they are. He wants willing participants, and He is actually wanting US to be those willing participants!

I want you to be challenged to unrelentingly pursue the LORD. I have full assurance that I know what the NUMBER 1 will of God is for your life, and that is that YOU WOULD KNOW HIM. and that you would PURSUE HIM!!

He is wanting your partnership, He wants your prayers to go before His throne because they are mountain moving, and He has anointed you to do a great work.

What will you choose to do? Will you diligently pursue this? Or will you squander the day away, doing things that only pull you away from the LORD?

Be So Blessed, the LORD wants your heart, and is, and will never stop pursuing you.

---Intercession---

Jesus, thank You for Your faithfulness, and that You are wanting to listen to Your people, and that You take time for ALL of Your people. You are so wonderful LORD, I love you, You are SO AWESOME!!! You know us so well, and right when we need encouraging, You are here, and right when we need intimacy, You are here.
Thank You LORD Jesus, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Rest, Joy, Love... Love.... And Some More Love

-Meditation-
Song of Songs 2:3

"I delight to sit in Your shade"

--TheSecretPlace--

Hey everyone!! Tonight I have just been so blessed by the LORD, He has been so good to me. I am just left overwhelmed by His love, and I have just been freed to just rest in Jesus. Today when I was at home praying, I just began praying, and singing this verse, and just meditating on how in the LORD I find rest, and there is SO MUCH rest, and joy in Him. It was so wonderful, because the LORD just showed me how He delights in me, when I delight in Him, and He loves me no matter what.

I am blown away by His great love.., and what is crazy is that when I understand more and more His love, I am more and more stirred to run after Him with all of my heart.

So just to share with you, also that the LORD wants you to encounter Him in these same ways, and even greater, or better said, more personal, ways. He wants you to find rest in Him. He wants you to be encountered by Him, and to receive Him in all that He wants to give.

Jesus, the King of glory wants you to be fully immersed in how HE feels about YOU. He wants you to understand that You are loved and cared for, and nothing will ever change that. When we submit to Jesus, He fills us with LOVE, and JOY, and PEACE! And endless, everlasting fruit will be so evident in our lives, when we lean on Jesus.

So I want to encourage you in the LORD, and I just feel like He would say to you to not look at the experiences of others, and compare your own experiences to theirs, and that He wants you to know Him for yourself, not just base what you believe off of other peoples experiences, or what others say you should believe. The LORD wants to be searched out by YOU.
He has great plans for you in Him. I feel like the LORD would say to you to just do your part in loving Him, don't worry about if you are loving Him rightly, or good, He just wants you to be you, and to love Him  with You.

He wants to be with YOU.

Be blessed.

---Intercession---

Jesus, thank you for loving us so much, and for desiring our hearts. God, you are good, and we love You, I just ask that you would reveal yourself to us in greater measure. I pray that we would lean on You for all that we need, and that we would not believe any lies from the enemy. We fix our eyes on you Lord. You are good, and Your mercy endures forever. I pray that we would know You. We want to know You, and we want to love You with all we are. Thank You Lord, in Jesus Name.

In the Name of the LORD Jesus.

I Got Nothing....He Has Got It All

God loves us.
This is what we are defined-Gods love.
So many people have no true revelation of God's love for their life, they think they are problems, and that they have to do, and do some more to prove their love for God, and to earn His love.

But I want to dispel this lie, Jesus has loved us from the beginning of time, and there is nothing we can do to change that!

I want to look at the WORD, and what the LORD says about how He feels about us.

 Psalm 16:3 says:

They are the excellent ones in whom is all my delight.

I love this verse, because it is just such an amazing thing to me that God would view us as excellent, and so much so that He would take all of His delight and put it in us. We don't deserve this love. We have done nothing to be called excellent by the King of glory, we have done nothing to be loved by God, He just loves us. HOW DOES THAT MAKE YOU FEEL!!!?? How could we want anything else? This should make our hearts turn to God in abandonment that He is all we want! He is worthy!! He is high and lofty, yet He invites us to dwell with Him in His presence. How could we say no to this God! Our great and wonderful God!!! He made Himself like us to HAVE US!!! He is pursuing us! He is longing to be with us!! Why would this God who needs nothing want us!!??? Just because He does. He just loves us. O HOW HE LOVES US!!

He just wants you.
He just wants me.
He wants us.
How much of ourselves will we give the God who gave all of Himself for us.

Jesus You are so good.
Lord I pray that you would help us to with all that we are completely run into your arms. We love you so much! Help us to love you, and understand your love for us. You are good, thank You for being here with us. We love you!!! We declare Your praise!!! We love you LORD!

Be Blessed.

-Meditation-
1 Corinthians 12&13

--TheSecretPlace--

Hello all.

Today, I was thinking, and praying about Gods will for the church, and I just felt like He told me that He wanted there to be a release of 1 Corinthians 12 and13.

And honestly I thought it kinda funny.... Because chapter 12 talks about all of the spiritual gifts Jesus desires us to have, and then chapter 13 talks about how if we don't have love then none of those gifts-Jesus gives- are worth anything.

Because God's focus in spiritual gifts, I believe is to push us on towards love, and if our spiritual gifts are leading us to selfishness, then we have abused the gifts God gives us, because we aren't using them in love.

This is a very interesting, and intriguing thing.... I know that God would rather His people love Him, than to merely be able to speak in tongues, or prophesy, the very focus of God Himself-Is LOVE.

Now that is a profound statement, I understand, but it is what I believe to be absolutely true.

We need this nailed to our hearts-God loves us.
Jesus loves me

Yes it is what 'church people' say, and you hear this ALL THE TIME! BUT!!! This is the door into understanding who we live for. Even before we thought about loving God, He loved us. And that is profound.

I hope we can all see this in the fullness of what it is... Because this is truly an amazing thing.
No one can tell you, you are unloved, and not cared for and be right because our confidence is in what the LORD says about us, and that is that we are the very apple of His eye! WE have stolen the God of the universes HEART!!! AND HIS GAZE!!!

This is amazing!!
Praise God!

I just thought I would share this with you, and my prayer for you is that you would really and truly TASTE and SEE that the LORD IS GOOD, O to catch a glimpse of goodness!!

---Intercession---

Father of glory, thank you for opening up blind eyes, and deaf ears. I just pray that you would help us to walk in Your love, the love of God-the love of You.
I pray that You would strengthen us by the power of Holy Spirit, and empower us to love you with all that we  are.
We love You, in Jesus Name.

Devotion.... Or Not??

-Meditation-
Isaiah 1:12-15

--TheSecretPlace--

As I meditate on these verses, I think about how so many people come to church, and conferences, and are 'devoted Christians' only on Sundays, and Wednesdays, and 'passionately pursue the LORD' for like 2 weeks after a conference, and then fall back into the "norm" of life, and to business as usual.
As I was thinking about all of this, I just thought about how Jesus really hates that pattern of life.... Why? Because it is being LUKEWARM.
Yes, it is very easy to follow God when everyone else is, but what happens when you get home? and the computer, and the T.V. are on, and the phone is just sitting there... waiting to be used, and problems with your family begin to test you, and your relationship with God. What happens when you get to work, and everything that can go wrong, goes wrong? Since those things seem to always happen, does that mean you need to handle those situations the way you did before your walk with the LORD, and get frustrated, OR should you prayerfully respond in such a way as to bless God?
-Lukewarm-ness-
As I said earlier, Jesus hates lukewarmness--So what exactly is that? What does it mean to be lukewarm?
I see it as playing the fence. It is being half-hearted-not fully giving yourself to God, and not fully giving yourself to the desires of your flesh. Lukewarmness IS half hearted-ness, and the truth is, is that Jesus does hate it, because He wants all of us-yes- but He makes it clear in the Word, that He would rather us say no to Him, than actually be lukewarm.(Revelation 3:15-16)

That is really intense. In Isaiah 1, I believe Jesus also makes this very point obvious as well, and it points out what God IS looking for, and what God IS NOT looking for... and we will take this on one at a time.

1)What God is NOT looking for:
As I said earlier God is not looking for an up and down relationship that is lukewarm, because when a person remains lukewarm, they remain one who is only interested in playing games. There is no true fascination for Gods love in them. The LORD will end up at the end of the age casting the lukewarm into the lake of fire, but I am praying that those who are now lukewarm would turn all of their hearts to God.

2)What God is looking for: LOVE that is WHOLEHEARTED.

How are we to be what God is looking for? He is looking for friendship with His us, and the truth is that a 2-week spiritual hype, or a twice a week relationship with Him is not a strong friendship AT ALL. So that is not the answer... So how do we conquer this?
We have to surrender one thing to obtain friendship with Jesus, and that is DEVOTION because devotion is stronger than passion, and when it is hard and when it is easy your devotion stands true, and that is what the people of God need towards God Himself.

Jesus is looking for our love, and devotion.

So let's not give Him heartless burnt offerings, but lets give him our LOVE offerings.(Psalm 103)

---Intercession---

Father thank you so much for showing us how to follow you, and that it just take us, we are all that is required, our life for yours. Thank you so much for all you are doing, I just want to ask you to pour out your Spirit on us now. Jesus we love you SO MUCH!!!!!! THANK YOU!!! BLESS YOU LORD JESUS!!! You are the Blessed Savior, You are our Beloved. Thank You for Your love. =] Lord, You are so GOOD. In Jesus Name.

I just feel like the LORD would say to You
You are the one He loves, He has a soft spot in His heart for you, and He has plans for you to not fail in Your walk with Him, and You are fully capable of walking with Him in the fullness of His glory that He will pour out on us here.

BE so SO BLESSED!

In the Storm-He is with us.

-Meditation-
Psalm 34:1
&
Praising God in the midst of a storm.

--TheSecretPlace--

We serve a GREAT GOD!!!!

I was just thinking today about God, and how He lets bad things happen to us, and around us, and just how He cares so much about us. So many people think that because bad things happen God doesn't care, and He isn't really in charge, and He doesn't have good plans for us... But the more I thought about this, and I thought about God, the more I saw how much He cares for us... Because it is man's fault we are in sin--well really satans fault-- but we are so weak, and undeserving yet HE IS WITH US in the midst of our most terrible situations.

Even in my darkest moments the LORD is with me. Even when everyone hates me, really, and the world is against me, and I am broken the LORD is right here with me, comforting me, and helping me through.---And He does this for ALL of His children. Who says God doesn't care!! He cares so much that He would bend down low to be with frail humans.
I do understand that some people just don't know how God is with us through our troubles, but that is so fundamental to our walk with God, and honestly that is one of those things you have to constantly tell yourself, and let the Holy Spirit help you with.

I believe that  my generation is living in such darkness that this revelation of Gods care and love DESPERATELY NEEDS to be known, and we have been chosen to make it known.

We need to get this word out, we need to pray for our generation, because that is the only way God is going to break in.

So my challenge to you today is to pray--pray---- AND PRAY SOME MORE---- for your generation, and for those around you that you know. Pray that God would visit your classmates with dreams and visions, pray that blessings would be showered down on them.

Most people--ALL PEOPLE--need to be LOVED into the Kingdom of God, not CONVINCED into the Kingdom of God. When our foundation is love, we grow, and encounter God in a deeper intensity.

So I encourage you to be kind beyond what you are use to. When people are mean to you, bless them. Do not curse them or even talk about them when they are not there, in all of your speech towards people be filled with love for them, or don't open your mouth about them.

---Intercession---

Father, please help us to find you in the midst of our storms, and troubles. Thank you that You see us when we spend time with you, and take time to be with you.
You are good God.
We love You.
In Jesus' Name. Amen.
