-Intercession-
I have spent these past few days really in prayer for this blog, and the LORD has revealed to me more of the purpose, and the direction He is wanting to take with it.
I am blessed to say that I have found more of the purpose of this blog, and hopefully you will be blessed in the result of what will be taking place. I am going to be putting forth more of a challenge to the readers(of this blog), to get to the Secret Place, and to plunge themselves into intercession. My hope is that everyday when someone reads this blog, they would be encouraged, they would get something out of it, but my goal is to put you on the run to the Secret Place. My prayer is that the would be such a desire and want in us that when we consider what we will be doing everyday that our hearts would be so focused, and sold out for ONETHING, that our time in the Secret Place comes first.
The goal of this blog is to get you(and me) into God's WORD, and for us to get into intercession, so that we may be intimate, and go deep with Jesus.
So I will be posting a little differently if you have not guessed.
So before I say anything else, I want to put these verses before you and challenge you to dig deep into them, and challenge you to ask the LORD what it means before I give my two cents.
-Meditation-
Luke 6:12
1 Thessalonians 5:17
Acts 1:14
James 5:16
Thoughts..............on that note.
When I think about these verses, and when I read them I just see that there is a call going out to me personally, and to God's people, and from us the LORD wants an utter abandonment to prayer.
Especially Luke 6:12
Jesus was so abandoned to prayer, and life in the secret place. He looks down on the sons of men, and He is looking for intercessors, those who will stand in the gap to pray. To pray alone to the Father(Luke 6:12), and to pray for others(James 5:16).
My challenge to you today is to take these scriptures on prayer, and find some also that you can dig deep into, but as you pray and read today think about what was just said.
The Father is looking for those who are utterly abandoned to prayer.
Will you be one who He sees on your face in prayer, or with your face glued to the television or computer screen?(not directed to any person in particular.)
I am with you in this battle, and am not where I want to be, but I am asking you to join with me in this race we are running.
Father, I pray, and I ask that you would give us a spirit of wisdom, and revelation in the knowledge of you, and I pray that you would give us, and help us to have an utter abandonment to you in our prayers and supplications. I love you Jesus, please come and give us more of yourself, and more of your Spirit. Lord, I'm not there yet, so please help me, and help us. Bless you LORD! in Jesus Name. Amen.
Think about it.
Utter abandonment to a life of prayer.
-------------Kasey------------
P.S. Remember that the LORD LOVES YOU SO MUCH, and He DELIGHTS IN YOU. You are His beloved.
I feel like I should tell you that 1 John 4 has a lot to do with what this post is talking about, its a good read, if you know what I am saying.
