Let's do it together

Man, I have had so many different things pulling at my attention this week, and it has been a personal struggle to overcome, and I am just reminded that His love for me is far greater than anything else, and that He is the only one worthy of all my attention. Though it is ok to do things and hang out and goof around, my point is that we sometimes give other things more attention then they deserve.

I have found that the more fascinated I am with God, the more time I spend with Him and the more I give myself to Him, because I am knowing Him more.(If that makes since) It's the same the other way around, the more fascinated I am with other things, the more I give myself to it, that is life. It is all about keeping the ONE THING, your ONE THING.

It isn't an easy thing to do all the time, because the enemy is always pulling at your attention, but it is OUR CHOICE, we choose God or we choose the things of the world. The unworthy idols. That is what I am doing when I don't give myself continually to God, when I don't give myself to Him, I am choosing other things. Because in all I do, HE is to be exalted, not my sinful nature, and not me, Him. He is all. I am reminded of this song and the pre-chorus is "How can I stand here and not be moved by you."

The Fathers heart breaks when we choose other material things besides Him.

Let's join together as one body and choose God and intercede and pray. Let us go and give ourselves to God and not this world.
