His Ways Are Not Our Ways.

-Meditation-
Jeremiah 1:6

--TheSecretPlace--

I love this passage of Scripture!!! Honestly, just digging through it has been so wonderful. The LORD has so much to teach us through His Word, and I want to encourage all of you to get into every day! Every time you get a chance, I encourage you to plunge yourself into it.

When I read over this verse today the first thing I thought about is that when we criticize or even discourage ourselves we are pulling away from, and criticizing the LORD's handiwork. Here is Jeremiah, and he is probably my age, around 15 or 16 maybe older maybe younger, and to me it seems like he is not very confident in who he is, or in what he was made for. Who knows who criticized him, and who knows who built him up if anyone did. Where were his parents? Where were his friends? He needed to be encouraged, and he needed to be told by one who knew Him-who he was, and there was only one who could do that.

So the LORD spoke to Jeremiah, and told him who he was. We know that Jeremiah needed the LORD to tell him these things, but why did the LORD need tell him that he knew him before he was formed? Why would God need tell him that he was set apart before he was born?
Jeremiah  felt like a nobody, and he felt insignificant, and you can tell he did by the way he spoke to the LORD saying "I am only a youth" Jeremiah thought so little of himself and thought himself disqualified because of his age. But the LORD made known to him how HE felt about Jeremiah, and the LORD put His words in Jeremiah's mouth, and that is what we all need. We need to be told by the LORD who we are, and as much as we tend to not like it, we need to be rebuked-corrected in all of our wrong thinking, because when we look down on OURSELVES, and we criticize ourselves, and anyone else for that matter, we are criticizing the work of the LORD, and we need to understand that no matter what our weaknesses, and no matter how problematic we think we are, we need to know and understand that, our weaknesses do not disqualify us from the work the LORD has for us to do, or the plans he has for our lives.

The LORD knows us, and He is the one who formed us, and He formed us to do a great work. No matter how insignificant it may seem to be. We do not need to belittle the LORD because we do not see how the work He has called us to do is great, we need to trust, and surrender to His leading, and just believe that what He calls us to do does make an impact, and it is important.

I believe we need to get a firm grip around 1 Corinthians 1:27

For God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong.

The LORD loves to use weak, and broken people, and we are all weak, and broken, so I do believe you and I are just the people He looks for.

And once the LORD told Jeremiah who he was, he had the confidence to do what he was being called to do. When the LORD spoke to him who he was, and what he was created for Jeremiah was encouraged, and he was strengthened! The LORD wanted him to know that He LOVED to use him just the way, and just the age he was, and I believe the LORD is saying the very same thing to us.-To my generation, and ALL of the generations no matter how weak we are--because the LORD knows we are weak.

The LORD wanted Jeremiah to know how valuable he was to the LORD even in his weakness, and when Jeremiah began to walk in his identity as one fully, and completely known by the LORD-the God of the universe, and when he began to walk as one set apart by the LORD-before he was even born, Jeremiah was strengthened in the LORD to do the work he was called to do, and he walked before the LORD, and men with confidence.

This is what Jesus is even wanting us to do, He wants us to believe that He has chosen us to do a great work, and He wants us to believe that He will strengthen us, and empower us to do what He has called us to do even in our weaknesses, no matter how hard it may seem to be.

My prayer is that you would wrestle with the LORD, and seek for your calling, and how the LORD wants to use you-Because He does want to use you, even if it is just by loving people.

---Intercession---

Lord Jesus, I pray that You would reveal Yourself to us, and show us how You want to use us, and reveal to us new ways to love others better. We love you so much, and I just ask that You would rend the heavens, and come and reveal Yourself to Your bride. We love You! In Jesus' Name.So Be It.

Be blessed, and found in the LORD!

Lover of God.-

-Meditation-
Jeremiah 1:5
"I appointed you a prophet to the nations."

--TheSecretPlace--

I want to go straight to the scripture, purely because the WORD of God is so necessary, I believe, as Christians to understand it. I don't think many 0f us, and I don't really think I have a good grip on the Word of God, there is so much that I have never dug into, and there is definitely not much that I have gone far into. But I do know that, that will soon change, for me, and for many.

So when I think of this portion of scripture I first recognize the position the LORD has appointed to Jeremiah, and I think about all of the positions the LORD gives to His people. positions positions positions....... When I think about this I think about how their are positions in the church, and positions in the marketplace, and the sad thing is that SO MANY PEOPLE find who they are in their position-in their title, and some put themselves down because they don't work in the church or they don't have a good job with an awesome pay, my heart is really concerned for these people, because it is a very unhealthy thing, and a very bad thing to find your identity in what you do. #1- I believe that if you are a Christian, then you are a minister of Christ no matter what your earthly occupation is-We read the same Bible, and we read the same gospel of Jesus. Also to those who are working in the marketplace, I believe God can move in power through you, and you could even do more for His kingdom than an unwilling minister in the church, and by that I mean just reaching out to people for the sake of Jesus.

We cant define who we are by our position, or our title, the truth is that no matter who the LORD calls to be a prophet, or a watchman, or a singer, or a musician, or a business man, or a college teachers, or the waitress at outback, the LORD calls ALL of His people to be LOVERS OF GOD.
And when you don't feel like you can love God all that well, He calls His people LOVED BY GOD.
Honestly when we stand before the LORD, He is NOT going to look at our earthly position, He will look at how we were faithful with what we were given no matter what position we served in.
How wonderful is that!!!! So you could have the lowest job on earth, but if you are faithful, you would end up with an abundance of heavenly treasures!! And we on earth compared to heaven are living in poverty anyways, so why focus so much on the name which we so often want to make for ourselves, when we focus on Jesus, and what He calls us to, and in the long-run store up treasure in heaven.

I see so many people get so worried about what is happening in the economy right now, because they don't know if their job(or jobs) will provide, and some have lost their job(s). But some have taken their eyes off of who is really in control, and the truth is that the LORD is, and will ever be Jehovah-Jireh-Our PROVIDER. In Him, there is no economy to worry about.

Jeremiah 1:5, as we have been going through it, obviously it is the LORD speaking to Jeremiah, and He tells Jeremiah that before He was formed or born He was consecrated-set apart-and known by the LORD, and in this last little part the LORD makes it known to Him, that even way back when, before he was born the LORD appointed Him as a prophet to the nations, and the LORD told Jeremiah that 'now'(back then) is the time to step into and walk in what I have called you to be, the LORD put the call on Jeremiah's life to be a prophet to the nations, and Jeremiah, being a youth, brought up his age(excuse), saying "Lord, I am only a youth" but the LORD knew Jeremiah, He knew what Jeremiah was to accomplish, and anointed his lips, and sent him out. God helped Jeremiah to overcome his doubt.

In the same way the LORD has called each and everyone of us, His people to be lovers of God, and we shouldn't bring up any excuses about our age, whether you think you are too young or too old, the LORD calls ALL of us to abide in His love. His banner over us IS LOVE(SOS 2:4)

And also in our earthly callings, we ought not to bring in our excuses to deny the call on our lives, to be faithful in what the LORD has called us to be faithful in is the highest calling, and we should be honored, and bold in our calling, instead of rejecting it with doubt, and excuses.

Receive the anointing the LORD wants to pour out on you, and walk in it, be filled with Holy Spirit, and get into the WORD of God, because when we get into His Word, most of the time I have noticed that it ignites our heart with truth, and purges the evil  out of our hearts.

My prayer for you is that whatever you do in life, you would be faithful with the small, and you will indeed be given much in heavenly treasure. How blessed are we to call on the Name of the LORD!!!

One more thing, and that is when I sometimes feel like I don't know who I am, and I feel like a nobody, I automatically speak over myself(sometimes putting my hand on my head), "I am loved by God, and I am a lover of God", and as funny as it may sound to others I say it over and over until it is engraved on my heart, soul, and my mind, and until I believe it, because I know it is true.

This is one of the few things we can do to find who we are in Christ, I also speak scripture over myself... Seriously try Jeremiah 1:5 on for size, or Jeremiah 29:11..... It really fits what we are talking about. ;)
I just declare over you that YOU are the BELOVED of JESUS CHRIST.In Jesus Name.

---Intercession---

Jesus, I just want to call on your Name even now, and I pray that you would engrave your words, and your thoughts about us on our hearts. Please help us to be people who will walk boldly in the callings which you have put on our lives to walk boldly in. You are Beautiful, and You are Worthy of all praise. Thank You for breaking the barrier between God, and man, and thank You for letting weak and broken, and poor people come to You Jesus, in our weakness. We love You LORD, and will declare our love for You all of our days. Please pull us into the depths of Your heart. Lord Jesus, we love You. In Jesus Name.

Be blessed in the Name of the LORD.

Before You Were Born, I Consecrated You.

-Meditation-
Jeremiah 1:5
"...and before you were born, I consecrated you."

--TheSecretPlace--

Hello all, first I would like to apologize for not posting yesterday, I was gone all day, and then fell asleep, which is irresponsible of me, so I do apologize.

As I read Jeremiah 1:5-8, my heart was so captivated, and I couldn't help but take a few days on this scripture, simply because there is so much revelation in it, and I want to touch on as much of it as I can.

So I want to take some time to focus in on this next phrase, because it is so awesome!!

"Before you were born I consecrated you"

Have you ever had that feeling that you were created for greatness, and it was just so engraved on your heart that you knew you were created, and ---set apart--- for something amazing?
Some have some haven't, but whether you feel it or not, God= The God of the universe, before we were born, set us apart for what has been set apart for our lives, whatever His plans for our lives may be.

To think about the time before we were born, or formed may seem pointless to some, but the truth is, if we don't understand that the LORD God Almighty has had set aside plans for us, and if we don't understand that He knew us, and consecrated us before we were here, we would have more of an excuse to not believe the LORD loves us and cares about us so much. It is just such an amazing thing to have been wanted by God before anyone else, before we were born, and before we were even formed!!!
We are truly blessed as sons, and daughters of God, and I just think about how loving parents are before they have a baby, and it is so amazing because before the baby is born they love him-or her, and they would never abort him-or her, but they love the baby with all they are. It is truly an amazing picture of love, that the parents would devote themselves to this human being that they have never laid their eyes on, that they have never touched, and that is how the LORD is with us, He would never abandon us, or forsake us, but with every step we take He pursues us, and cheers us on towards Himself, the prize-Jesus Christ.

As I think upon this verse, I think about how the LORD really wants us to walk as ones who are consecrated to Him, and who are known by Him, and I believe we need to realize how much power is within one who walks in the knowledge that he(or she) has ever been consecrated, and known by the LIVING-LOVING-ETERNAL-GOD.

That would cause a chain reaction of events in the people of God leading to revival, and it would ultimately lead to the second coming of JESUS.--Because once we (truly) know who we are, we realize what we were made for.

We were made for God, and to get God we need it to be the lovesick cry of our hearts to be with God, and do everything we can possibly do to so move our Beloved Bridegroom to rend the heavens and come down to be with Him-Because it won't be right on earth until He splits the sky and comes down. I am so convinced that when we begin, as the body of Christ to understand what we were made for-fellowship with Jesus-, and we actually begin to cry out for Jesus' second coming, the churches in the earth will be shaken, and will not look the same. Jesus' bride will more and more begin to look like, and be the PURE and SPOTLESS BRIDE He has been so kindly, and intensely waiting for. For 2,000 years Jesus, our FAITHFUL BRIDEGROOM has been waiting, and I believe that this is the generation, and this is the time to take our stand as the lovesick Bride of Christ, and cry out for our Bridegroom.

Who knows how the LORD will respond if we cry out.

Jeremiah 33:3 says

CAll to me, and I will answer you, and tell you great, and unsearchable things that you have not known(do not know).

1 Samuel 1

Hannah prayed, and cried out for a son-to the glory of God-, and the LORD gave her Samuel, the prophet Samuel, who was close to the LORD, and whose words The LORD did not let fall to the ground. The LORD even gave her more sons and daughters because she was faithful with Samuel.

2 Chronicles 7:14

"If my people who are called by my Name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will forgive their sin, and heal their land."

Moses continually cried out to the LORD, and relentlessly went to Pharaoh on behalf of the house of Israel, and the LORD set them free.

And one of my favorites.

Joel 2:12-14

"Yet even now" declares the LORD, 'return to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning, and rend your hearts, and not your garments.'
Return to the LORD your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love; and He relents over disaster. Who knows whether He will not turn and relent, and leave a blessing behind Him, and a grain offering, and a drink offering for the LORD your God?"

So much happens when we cry out to God, but the best result is the END result. ;)

When Jesus walked, His confidence was sure in who He was. Jesus knew who He was. Jesus knew He was the Son of the Living God.

And if you have a hard time knowing who you, and walking as one with confidence in who you are, just rely on the firm foundation that You are loved by God, and that is really all we need.

I just want to let you know that the LORD is so captivated by you. He calls you beautiful. He calls you lovely. He sees you HOLY. He doesn't expect you to be what you are not. He has good plans for you, that you yourself will love walking in. He is your helper. He holds your right hand when you need Him-Isaiah 41:13-

May the LORD BLESS you and KEEP you as the apple of His eye.

---Intercession---

Yeshua, You are the LORD Most High, and it delights me to serve You, the Great, and Living God. You are so BEAUTIFUL!!! You are so Holy! You are so Majestic, and Awesome. Thank You so much for how You make Yourself known to us. God, thank You Lord for being here for us, You are so High, I can't even describe YOU! You are Jesus! You are the Christ! You are LOVE.! Thank You for being LOVE, we desperately need Your touch, oh God of Jacob, O God who is love, we need YOUR TOUCH ALONE!! Thank you JESUS for who you are!! The One who was, and is and is to come. Blessed are you who comes in the Name of the LORD. Halelujah! Praise You God!! Jesus you are Glorious.
Thank you Lord, in Jesus Name.

Lastly I just feel like the LORD would say to you, to continue to seek His face, and continue to press in to know Him. What He calls us to is for our good, and He loves to work His good through our bad. In our bad circumstances, and every area of our life, and truthfully, every area of our lives are bad until we have Jesus working His good through our bad.

We see His good in what He does, but we can also see HIS good through the work He does through us.

Isaiah 1:16-17 says

"Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean; remove the evil of your deeds from before my eyes; cease to do evil, LEARN TO DO GOOD; seek JUSTICE, correct oppression; bring JUSTICE to the fatherless, plead the widow's cause."

The LORD is with You who are His. Be blessed, and stay in the place of prayer-The Lord will meet you, and will bless you for coming to Him, and crying out to Him, and for Him.

Be blessed
In Jesus Name

Never Too Young

-Meditation-
Jeremiah 1:5
"Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you."

--TheSecretPlace--

This statement blows me away. How astounding is it that God, the God of the universe, who is so high and lofty, knew you and I, and took His 'time' to search us out, when we weren't even dust? He did this with each of us, and it is truly astounding. He saw us and sees us as valuable.

When I think about this, I think about how blessed we are to be know by God. God Himself knew us to the point of forming us, He knew His plans for our lives, the lives we were to live, and He knew all of the trials we were-are- to go through, and He knew us, and knows us well enough to help us through those hard times.

He has known us, even before we were conceived He knew us.

This means that He knew our good, and He knew our bad.
He knew our personality.
He knew our strengths, and our weaknesses.
He knew our gifts, and talents.
And He knew our not so talented areas of life.
HE KNEW US, BEFORE HE FORMED US.
He thought about how we were, and WHO we were, until we came to be, and He still thinks about us, and He still knows us the same.

When He knew us BEFORE we were formed, He knew us just as well as He knows us now, AFTER we have been formed, and He actually continues to form us into His likeness, (if we are willing to let Him.)

The LORD knew us before He formed us, He knew our form, and He still couldn't help but to love us with all that He is, and the amazing thing is that He loved us so much, even though He knew how weak, and fragile we are, and how we are so weak in all that we do. He even loved us to the point of death-because He wanted us to know Him-Just as we are known. And before mankind came to be, Jesus even knew that He was going to die on the cross.
He loved us to the point of death!
His sacrifice was a very real thing,  Jesus hung on a cross for over 12 hours, and suffered greatly, was ridiculed, and bore ALL OF OUR SINS--When we should have been the ones to die on the cross, but because HE KNEW US, and loved us, and He knew and loved those of us who hadn't been formed(YOU AND I)===He bore our sins on the cross. This is the God who knew us before we were formed. O to be known by this God of LOVE!

He made Himself weak, so that we may have access to Him.

---Intercession---

Jesus, thank you that You knew us, and loved us to the point where You would die for us, Your sacrifice brings us life, and brings life to those who are dead. Jesus I just pray that You would wake us up, wake up Your bride, we have been sleeping for far too long, and You are saying that it is time to wake up, and prepare the way for Your second coming, because You want to bring justice, and make things right, and so I thank You LORD, and ask that You would send the rain of Your Holy Spirit, and that You would send a great outpouring of Your LOVE, and the prophetic, so that we may walk in fellowship with You, and with one another. Please help us to love You, and to love others well. In Jesus Name.

Be blessed!

Keep On--Pressing In

-Meditation-
Moses---The book of Exodus.

--TheSecretPlace--

The LORD  made Moses to be an intercessor for Israel, it is amazing to me that Moses, and Aaron  had a God ordained cause on their lives, and did not relent in their pursuit of that cause, and that was that Israel would be set free. It blows me away, because we also just as Moses, and Aaron have a God ordained cause on our lives, that we are to pursue with all that we are, whatever it may be. And the LORD loves to be pursued by us. There is almost nothing, actually I don't think anything pleases Him more than His people pursuing Him with burning hearts. And we have been called to do just that, to pursue the LORD with burning hearts.

What strikes me in the story of Moses is how he, and Aaron did not stop going to Pharaoh until he let Israel go, and once Moses and Aaron had been faithful with pursuing the Pharaoh to let them go, God set them free, but at a high price. It wasn't easy for them to get out of Egypt, actually that had to have been one of the most dramatic, horrible times of the Israelites lives, they lived in the DESERT for 40 years, and finally got into the promise land, after the generation of Moses had died.

How amazing.

This story just reminds me of how the LORD right now is putting mandates on peoples hearts, and how He is stirring His people to unrelentingly pursue the Him, with all they are. He wants willing participants, and He is actually wanting US to be those willing participants!

I want you to be challenged to unrelentingly pursue the LORD. I have full assurance that I know what the NUMBER 1 will of God is for your life, and that is that YOU WOULD KNOW HIM. and that you would PURSUE HIM!!

He is wanting your partnership, He wants your prayers to go before His throne because they are mountain moving, and He has anointed you to do a great work.

What will you choose to do? Will you diligently pursue this? Or will you squander the day away, doing things that only pull you away from the LORD?

Be So Blessed, the LORD wants your heart, and is, and will never stop pursuing you.

---Intercession---

Jesus, thank You for Your faithfulness, and that You are wanting to listen to Your people, and that You take time for ALL of Your people. You are so wonderful LORD, I love you, You are SO AWESOME!!! You know us so well, and right when we need encouraging, You are here, and right when we need intimacy, You are here.
Thank You LORD Jesus, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Rest, Joy, Love... Love.... And Some More Love

-Meditation-
Song of Songs 2:3

"I delight to sit in Your shade"

--TheSecretPlace--

Hey everyone!! Tonight I have just been so blessed by the LORD, He has been so good to me. I am just left overwhelmed by His love, and I have just been freed to just rest in Jesus. Today when I was at home praying, I just began praying, and singing this verse, and just meditating on how in the LORD I find rest, and there is SO MUCH rest, and joy in Him. It was so wonderful, because the LORD just showed me how He delights in me, when I delight in Him, and He loves me no matter what.

I am blown away by His great love.., and what is crazy is that when I understand more and more His love, I am more and more stirred to run after Him with all of my heart.

So just to share with you, also that the LORD wants you to encounter Him in these same ways, and even greater, or better said, more personal, ways. He wants you to find rest in Him. He wants you to be encountered by Him, and to receive Him in all that He wants to give.

Jesus, the King of glory wants you to be fully immersed in how HE feels about YOU. He wants you to understand that You are loved and cared for, and nothing will ever change that. When we submit to Jesus, He fills us with LOVE, and JOY, and PEACE! And endless, everlasting fruit will be so evident in our lives, when we lean on Jesus.

So I want to encourage you in the LORD, and I just feel like He would say to you to not look at the experiences of others, and compare your own experiences to theirs, and that He wants you to know Him for yourself, not just base what you believe off of other peoples experiences, or what others say you should believe. The LORD wants to be searched out by YOU.
He has great plans for you in Him. I feel like the LORD would say to you to just do your part in loving Him, don't worry about if you are loving Him rightly, or good, He just wants you to be you, and to love Him  with You.

He wants to be with YOU.

Be blessed.

---Intercession---

Jesus, thank you for loving us so much, and for desiring our hearts. God, you are good, and we love You, I just ask that you would reveal yourself to us in greater measure. I pray that we would lean on You for all that we need, and that we would not believe any lies from the enemy. We fix our eyes on you Lord. You are good, and Your mercy endures forever. I pray that we would know You. We want to know You, and we want to love You with all we are. Thank You Lord, in Jesus Name.

In the Name of the LORD Jesus.

I Got Nothing....He Has Got It All

God loves us.
This is what we are defined-Gods love.
So many people have no true revelation of God's love for their life, they think they are problems, and that they have to do, and do some more to prove their love for God, and to earn His love.

But I want to dispel this lie, Jesus has loved us from the beginning of time, and there is nothing we can do to change that!

I want to look at the WORD, and what the LORD says about how He feels about us.

 Psalm 16:3 says:

They are the excellent ones in whom is all my delight.

I love this verse, because it is just such an amazing thing to me that God would view us as excellent, and so much so that He would take all of His delight and put it in us. We don't deserve this love. We have done nothing to be called excellent by the King of glory, we have done nothing to be loved by God, He just loves us. HOW DOES THAT MAKE YOU FEEL!!!?? How could we want anything else? This should make our hearts turn to God in abandonment that He is all we want! He is worthy!! He is high and lofty, yet He invites us to dwell with Him in His presence. How could we say no to this God! Our great and wonderful God!!! He made Himself like us to HAVE US!!! He is pursuing us! He is longing to be with us!! Why would this God who needs nothing want us!!??? Just because He does. He just loves us. O HOW HE LOVES US!!

He just wants you.
He just wants me.
He wants us.
How much of ourselves will we give the God who gave all of Himself for us.

Jesus You are so good.
Lord I pray that you would help us to with all that we are completely run into your arms. We love you so much! Help us to love you, and understand your love for us. You are good, thank You for being here with us. We love you!!! We declare Your praise!!! We love you LORD!

Be Blessed.
