...Some Thoughts...

Hello Everyone!!! I want to just take a minute to slow down. Wow, out of yesterday, and today this is the first time I have been home to take time to post.

It has been incredibly busy, but that is no excuse to not post, so I'm sorry on that part.

If you haven't listened to the sermon on justice by Billy Humphrey on the last post I really want to encourage you to do that.

As I have been meditating more and more on scriptures about justice my mind, and heart is boggled. I don't normally take this long to focus in on one subject, even though that is the only only way to go deep into the scriptures, and into God's heart. Through different seasons of life I think He gives us things to really dig deep into. Like intimacy, and the end-times, and in all of that--LOVE. It is amazing how much depth there is to all of these different subjects, but here is the AMAZING thing about it. It's that no matter how many different subjects you get into in the Word-- the root of ALL of it is LOVE. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!

He loves us. He loves justice. He is good, because His LOVE is perfect.

One thing I realized is that I often would rather ask someone else for something that is not God, Himself like if I want a cd I ask my mom, and there is nothing wrong with it, it is just that sometimes I get into the mindset of 'Well, God doesn't want me to have this cd, why would I ask Him for it'
That is the wrong mindset, because the truth is God loves to give to us. He loves to bless us, even with small things like cd's, and notebooks.

Another thing to consider though, is also that sometimes we often get greedy, or maybe the best word for it is spoiled, where we begin to crave things that are not too important, things that we don't need. So many people are discontent with what they have. They never look at the good, but continually focus on the bad, and even if it isn't bad their focus is on the 'not good'.

These are ways I find myself not loving Him perfectly. I know that we all sin, and we all fall, but I think to myself 'How could I make this same mistake again and again.'
Something we ALL need to realize(including me) is that He gives us grace to do the hard things.
He gives us SO MUCH GRACE!!!! Grace to walk with Him in love, in friendship, and in perfect unity.

It costs us to cast away, and burn away ALL that hinders love.

I have been thinking about this in different words, but this is how I can get it out the best really.

So...

If He is calling me to fast and to pray, He promises GRACE for me in that specific area and way.

Here is the deal...

We don't walk in grace until we take a step of faith...

I don't know if you quite got that..
Here is an example.

If the LORD tells me to stay home from going to the grocery store with my dad, (even though it's good to spend time with dad, my first LOVE is Jesus) and I don't stay home, how am I walking in the grace the LORD promised to me? If I had obeyed and stayed home, then I it would be because I had FAITH, and BELIEVED that the LORD would meet me.

These are little ways to show Him we love Him. And if you haven't guessed, the example above actually happened.

The deal is that I don't really know how long it is going to take for me to walk in complete obedience, but I believe I am going to get there. I realize that I am going to mess up. But there is even grace for me when I mess up.

Thank you Jesus!!!!!!!

The verses that sprung my thoughts on this are SOS 8:6 and some others that I honestly don't know.

I just feel like the LORD is offering an amount of GRACE that no generation has ever entered into or seen.
Why not take a stand and WALK in the grace He is pouring out.

Let's do this together. Let's dig this out.

PRAY ABOUT IT.

THINK ABOUT IT.

READ ABOUT IT.

LISTEN TO WHAT THE LORD HAS TO SAY ABOUT IT.

Be Blessed.

He Will Bring Justice to the Nations!!

-Meditation-
Isaiah 42(:1-4,5-9)

-From the Secret place-

The Lord is really speaking to me, and exciting me more and more about justice, and how at the end of the age His establishment of justice will be one of the most beautiful things He will do because it increases FOREVER! What we do now when we do works of justice(especially focusing on the fatherless and oppressed--in any way, basically on others, and not ourselves), we are sowing into what He is doing, and into what He wants.

I am going to be praying more and more that in His righteousness He would establish justice. They most definitely go together in my point of veiw.

I want to ask you how you are praying this? How are you digging more and more into this? Even if you're not really, how are you encouraged?
You don't have to tell me, I just want to get you to think, and pray about how you are engaging the LORD in this matter, or in any matter, are you digging deeper into the Word?
I want to be here as an encouragement, and as one who pushes you on in the LORD.

One more thing. In Isaiah 42--which I really love, I think that this is such a CLEAR picture of how Jesus is clearly moved by the need of justice, I can just see as I read the first 4 verses that when He comes back He will establish justice!! The only thing keeping Him from doing this is the lack of His people crying out for it--I think. It is my pursuit in prayer right now to pray and cry out for justice to be established-For Jesus to be put on the throne!
My cry is for His justice to roll down, and His righteousness to flow. I want to join with the many many many many others crying out for justice and righteousness, and take my place as one who is radically abandoned to intercession. I believe that this is really what He has called me to.

I want to challenge us to not waste our time, especially this next week and month, I want to make a habbit to, instead of going to the cpu, or the t.v. we go to the prayer closet.

-Intercession-

Jesus, right now I want to come to You, and ask you to establish justice and righteousness. Please help us to be concerned with what You are concerned about. Help me to fix my eyes on You, help us! Father, I pray that You would reveal Jesus to us. Show us Your glory. We love you, and will continue to relentlessly pursue You. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Blessings!!

The Invitation.

[First I want to apologize for posting so late.]

----Meditation----
Amos 5:15,24
Micah 6:8

----From the Secret Place----

I just want to take a minute to really look at the verse we have been looking at --Amos 5:15-- and Just how the LORD has blessings for those who fit this description, and also that which is in Micah 6:8. I feel like the LORD is specifically looking for people who live according to His Word, and to His commands, and He makes it clear that those who walk in His ways are blessed. The way to blessedness is really clearly seen in Matthew 5-7, but I think that all of the scriptures that direct us in justice, and righteousness, and His goodness, are also ways to blessedness.

As I think about establishing justice, I kinda think about how I don't really do too good of a job at it. I feel very charged to begin to do something about it, I don't want to be one who thinks I know everything there is to know, when really I don't.

I think God is calling me to deeper levels of His heart(I think He is calling all of His people to deeper levels of His heart), and I feel like establishing justice is one great way to get there. I also know that when we pray, and when we cry out, and I mean really get on our faces and cry out, He send the rain, He lets justice roll down like a mighty river, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream(Amos 5:24). I believe that, that is on His heart.
Think about that, He is calling us to deeper levels-higher levels you could say, but the way to get there is to go low, to walk in humility, and to take up our crosses. We have to cast down all of our idols, all of the things that hinder love.

He is raising up people after His heart, who are in love with Him, who are passionately seeking Him, and He is raising them up, to cry out, and to be a voice, and to unrelentlessly pursue Him. Those are the people who will establish justice, and those are His Bride who continually cries out for His returning. I want to be one of the few who accept this personal invitation to know Him better-because that is truly what it is.

So I want to challenge you to stand up, and be one of the few who do what is on His heart. Be one of the few doers of the Word. I want to encourage you, the LORD is inviting you to the depths of His heart, and He wants you to partner with Him in what is on His heart. Will you be one to deny your flesh and pick up your cross? This same invitation that I believe He is laying before you, He is laying it before me, and the King of Glory is waiting for us to be people who hands down throw ourselves at His feet. He is wanting a people who love Him with all of their heart. This is my conviction. How can I go on with my life without looking to the One who gave all of Himself BECAUSE He loves me. How can I continue living without giving myself as He gave Himself.

I have to give myself as He gave Himself. He gave all for love.
For you, and for me.
We are truly blessed, and do not even understand the intensity of that.

Let's join together in unity! and let's do justly! Let us take up our cross, and put on Christ Jesus!

Let's get into His Word and give Him our long hours.

----Intercession----
Jesus, thank you so much for all you do for us, LORD I just want to lift up all of those who are reading this and I just want to ask you Father to give us more of yourself, I pray that we would be people who lay down all we are for love, and I ask you to raise up people who are given to you, people who love you. Jesus You are SOO GREAT! You are SO WONDERFUL! You are AWESOME, and MIGHTY.
We love you!
In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Blessings!

Establishing Justice

-Meditation-

Amos 5:15, 24
Micah 6:8

-From the Secret Place-

I want to keep on building our revelation on these scriptures on justice. I have been praying today about justice, and how to establish it, and the LORD really taught me that if I am to establish justice, I must do justice, and do what is right---As I was listening to the LORD, He showed me that when we gossip, and when we stand for gossip, we are really standing for injustice(to the person who is being gossiped about)(we often stand for gossip by not standing against it). When we stand against injustice, we are standing for the kingdom of God. For us to stand, and fight against injustice we must rid ourselves of all wrong, and examine ourselves to see if there is any injustice we stand for. I had to do this recently, and confessing these things are hard, but we are not perfect. When we, ourselves, take a personal stand for righteousness God sees us and honors us. I got out  a paper and pen, and just listened and thought about what I might stand for, and asked the LORD to reveal to me any wrong I have committed against Him. He showed me and helped me to make it right. He showed me that those who stand for what is on His heart, are those who know Him, they are those who show their love for Him, in one of the most intimate ways. To be one who stands for what is on His heart is to be one that He sees as one who loves Him--that is my goal right now. That is how I want Him to see me.

-Intercession-

Lord, I pray that we would see ourselves as you see us, and that we would be people who stand for what is on your heart. Jesus, I pray that you would be blessed by your people this day.
God, I ask in Jesus Name, that you would help us to give up, and surrender all that we are to establish justice and righteousness on the earth. We love you LORD, please be with us.
In Your Name. Amen.

Be blessed!!

Justice

-Meditation-
Amos 5:15

-From the Secret Place-

Yesterday I was praying, and I just heard the LORD say to me, 'Kasey, I want you to cry out for justice'
I said, 'ok, LORD.' and I thought about justice, and how much I really don't know about it. I think of it as making the wrong things right. When I think about Jesus establishing justice one thing I realize is that JESUS cannot bring justice to its full length until He comes back to the earth. So, when the LORD spoke to me, He was(and is) calling me to, through prayer and intercession, loose justice. I just feel like the call to loose justice is for our generation, and it is for the church in this hour. For Jesus to establish justice in full, He has to come back. He is calling His people, HIS BRIDE to cry with the Spirit COME LORD JESUS!. He is looking for those who cry out for the establishment of justice.

A part of establishing justice besides praying and interceding for Jesus to come back is to also do works of justice. By doing works of justice, we are loosing justice on the earth. To loose justice we must hate evil, and love good.

The LORD is raising up a remnant of intercessors who stand in the gap, and He is calling forth, out of the darkness, those who cry out day and night, and night in day for His returning, and the establishment of righteousness.

He is calling us to deeper levels of intercession that we have not yet entered into.
I just feel like the LORD is truly calling us to this place of continual intercession.

-Intercession-

Father, I pray that you would loose your justice. I pray that justice would roll down like a mighty river and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream. Jesus, let our eyes be fixed on you, and let our hearts, and minds be in perfect unity with yours. I love you LORD, and I pray that you would open up our eyes, and I ask that you would make us a people who offer up countless intercessions. Bless you Jesus! In Your Name, Amen.

My challenge to you, and it really is the LORD's challenge to me as well, is that I want to really push you in your prayer closet, so take about 30 minutes, or hey start with 5 every day to pray for justice.
I will be talking about justice for the rest of this week, so that we can add layers to our revelation. So dig deep with me into the waters of justice.

Bless you!

The Purpose of this blog(Pt.2).

-The Secret Place-

I just want to let you know and inform you that this week as I was praying for this blog the LORD just laid out to me what will be taking place and that this blog will be more focused, and everything said will be more out of a place of prayer. As I said and did yesterday, this blog will really be more of a devotional. I will definitely still be writing revelation I receive from the LORD to hopefully help you, but I want you guys to also get into the Word, and also share with me what you get out of it, I want to challenge you to apply the revelation you get, and put it into prayer. If you ever want to send me an e-mail telling me about what the LORD gives you I would love to hear and be inspired. I also want to challenge you to not ever just accept everything I say as true I want to encourage you to search out the scriptures, and find what is right and wrong(not because I lie to you, but for you to find your own belief).

Before I go on I want to get you into the Word, and dig deep into what Gods heart is on the secret place. Go into your prayer closet and ask Him, and listen to Him. Be quiet before Him.

-Meditation-
Matthew 6
Amos 3:7
Luke 1-3:22(John the Baptist--1:17, 1:80, 3:1-22)

-My Thoughts-

The LORD is calling His people to the secret place. He is calling us to live our lives before Him. I want to charge you with this:Go deep in the LORD this week. I want to charge you to go to your secret place with Jesus, what can we do in secret to bless Him? What can we give in secret? How can we serve? How can we bless Him? I just want to challenge you to go deep. Be still before the LORD. I just feel the LORD saying that He has been pursuing you to be with Him, and He has been pursuing Him, I just want to say that I believe it is time that we pursue Him-with ALL that we are.  I am with you in this race, let's run to His embrace.

Be blessed!
