I have been thinking about how important it is that through all of our craziness, and through all that life is throwing at us, to just find rest in God ALONE. Truly the only way possible to obtain peace, is to find it in God, and no one else. He provides peace for His children when we are in need. For me lately I have been really pushed it seems like, I have a lot on my mind, and it isn't so much that I am super busy, but I have a lot to do. Does that make since? For these past few days I have really been experiencing the truth that my soul truly does find rest in God alone, and He loves me no matter what. Even though I am a terrible sinner, He delights in me. I am blessed.

I just feel like the LORD is really showing  me how important reading His Word is. I am so guilty of just reading a couple chapters, and then putting my Bible down, and just going on throughout my day as usual. We need the realization that when we pick up the Word of God, He wants to encounter us through His Word. His Word is not something we just read a couple chapters of and call ourselves Christians for it. We are to deeply search it out, and encounter Jesus through it. His Word helps us pray, He gives us revelation on His Word, and that is how, I believe, we live. We can not live without His Word, without His presence, or without His love. Jesus is the Word of God made flesh, and in our time with Him as such He should be treated as such. We need to posture our hearts before Him in intercession, and thanksgiving, and in the deepest humility so that we can encounter Him.

He doesn't reveal the deep things of His heart to those who are caught up in their own pride, but He shows Himself, and gives Himself to His bond-servants WITHOUT MEASURE.

I want Him without measure.
I do not want my pride to hold me back from getting Him without measure.

The thing that blows my mind away is that He is so willing to give Himself to us. We are weak and broken, and lowly, but HE LOVE US. HE CREATED US. HE FORMED OUR VERY HEARTS.

He is the only One worthy of all of our praise and adoration.

One more thing, and here is my question to you...

He wants us without measure, and when we give Him ourselves without measure in humility, then He will give us Himself without measure.

The question is, are we going to give ourselves to Him in complete humility so that we can have Him?

Fasting

So many people misunderstand fasting, but it is truly one of the most important aspects of the Christian lifestyle. We are not of this world, we are just in it, but we love it, don't we?

I am very convicted that I have loved this world, and some of the pleasures of being in it, but I believe that loving this world goes against everything else I believe. I have dealt with it, and am more free than I was, but at times I find myself still being a little attached. I feel like the LORD is saying, especially for our generation that it is time to BREAK ALL of our agreements with this world. It is time to live wholeheartedly for HIM. Not for this world.

I believe that God is setting His people apart to Himself, to love Him, and to bless Him.

Instead of being addicted to the things of this world, I want God to be my addiction, and my obsession.

So, this is why I believe it is so important to fast. Most of our time goes into things that do not matter, and most of the time the only way to break free of it is to take time away from it, and spend that time with God.

Hey everyone!

I was just thinking today about who I listen to, and how it effects my entire life. I want to encourage you to have discerning hearts, in this hour there are many voices coming from all places. There are, whether we like it or not, false prophets, and we cannot risk just accepting everything they say.

We are in a time in history where God Himself is calling HIS PEOPLE to HIMSELF. He doesn't want people just devoted to their church, or the big leaders in their lives, He is offering to us to rend our hearts to Him, and lean on Him. We need to be people of the Word of God.

Let us not be completely ignorant, Jesus is restoring to Himself His bride, and will not relent in His pursuit of us. Life is not about IHOP, and it isn't about ourselves, it is all about the love of God. Loving God, and being loved by God.

He is calling us to Himself. We must return to Him. We must pray, and enter into a new level of love.

Happy 100th Post!

Anyways.

The LORD has really been showing me today the importance of studying the end times, and especially the book of Revelation. I really believe that, that very subject is on His heart.

I have been reading it and meditating on it and just meditating on the verse verse really, you see the importance of it. I feel led to just tell you what I have gotten out of it today, not to show off, because it is really simple to understand.  Just a little part, it says at the very beginning,

"The Revelation(notice capitalization) of Jesus Christ, which God(The Father) gave Him to show His bond-servants..."

I was listening to the Holy Spirit, who is our teacher, and He just showed me things like the Book of Revelation was a gift to Jesus, and Jesus wants to give it to us as a gift.  The way we look at this book, and the way we perceive it effects our entire lives, I am convinced that we can fully understand this book. The only catch is this, and it really isn't a catch, it says clearly that the Father gave the book of Revelation to Jesus to show His BOND-SERVANTS.

What is a bond-servant?

A bond-servant is-a person who is bond to service without wage.
A slave.

What does it mean for us to be bond-servants to Jesus?

The way I look at it and perceive it is pretty much the definition, it is completely giving ourselves to Jesus in service--VOLUNTARILY-- without expecting something in return. For me, just being able to serve the King of Glory is an honor and a privilege. He doesn't need servants, and really He doesn't need us, but HE WANTS US. He wants us to know what He is doing in the earth, and that is one reason why the Book of Revelation is a gift.

Because of the book of Revelation, we are able to partner with Jesus in the end times. It is a great honor.

So I want to encourage you to go deep into this book, and search it out, it is not too hard to understand. It is on Gods heart in this hour, and I am going to be willing and obedient(Is.1:19) to receive it as it is.

I want to get to a point today that has really struck my heart. I have only tasted the goodness of the LORD. I have only caught glimpses of His glory, and I have only experienced a tiny measure of His greatness. I just want to say that I am not satisfied with that, I will only be satisfied when I satisfy God. Because even though God has everything God longs for me. Even though I can give Him nothing(because He has everything) He wants me. What is up with that... It's a kingdom of God thing.

I choose how much of God I want, and we all say things like "I want Him more than anything!" But we only give Him small portions of our hearts. I just want to take a stand and say that I am tired of living wholeheartedly. Aren't you tired of that? Aren't you ready to just throw yourself into His arms, yet we do not. I want to just encourage you, listen to your heart, listen to your heart. I have found that the only One who can fill me, is Jesus. I am so undeserving, and I am unworthy, but He pours Himself out on those who give themselves to Him.

Though I have really only tasted, I have tasted. I am willing to give all of myself to Him, and I want to do it along with you.

Lets give Him what He wants. When we spend time on His Word we don't even know how much that truly ministers to His heart.

That is what my life is about--> ministering to HIS HEART.

I don't know how much since that makes to you, but hopefully it helps you to think, and to get into His Word.

Happy New Year!!

Hello everyone! I am back from Onething, and I have so much to say. The LORD has done amazing things in me, and in so many that went. We have not come back empty handed.

I got back, and was home yesterday, but did not post, sorry... I was really tired.

But today I am rested. The LORD poured out His many blessings on me, I am so overwhelmed right now. This past week I have looked at His Word so differently.

It is the New Year! 2009. I usually make the whole resolution thing, and put like a thousand different goals, but I feel like He wants me to set before me a goal to reach for the rest of my life, and that is to eat the scroll, which is a term that basically means to take in and digest the WORD. To search it out. To make my time reading the Word my lunch. Spending time on it, doing long loving hours of meditation. I feel like that is one thing He is asking of all of us. I do have a few more things that I am going to accomplish, but really when I think about it, when I eat the scroll, I am making Him so happy.

One more thing before I turn off my computer, He has just given me such a great revelation of His GRACE, and FORGIVENESS for me. I mess up so often, and I always find myself making things right--when I wish I did things right in the first place so I wouldn't have to make it right(does that make since?)--- I know He loves that.

I mess up constantly.
But He loves and forgives me.

There is so much grace.

One thing that blows me away is that He doesn't want me to feel bad when I sin. He wants me to repent, and accept His forgiveness, not live outside of it.

There is so much more, and I will be posting daily once again.

I have really been feeling the urge to put more time and effort into this blog, and that is what I plan on doing. I love you guys, and I want to encourage you to eat the scroll.
