Fire Hammer.....

The more and more I read the Word the more and more I realize how far away I am from knowing it, and being one with it.... I so badly want to be one with the WORD of God... The WORD who is God Himself.

I have been thinking, and praying, and one thing I realize every time I do one of the two I find myself somewhere at fault, and I find myself trying to figure out what the heck I am doing..... Like why in the world would God want me to start a blog, and post on it so often.... Then I realize.... I wont know until I see the result, even if I never see it..... So why not be faithful in the small things. 

I feel like I have finally caught up on some sleep, after going out of town this past week..... So I will most definitely be more active in blogland...

  This is so random, but I think this is SO awesome... no matter what God is ravished... or better said His heart stops, and skips a beat when He looks upon me... EVEN THOUGH I AM SINFUL.

What a good word.

So I am curious.... and want to put it out there and ask.. How are you doing in getting into the Word?.... (no reply is necessary). Because honestly I am so stuck sometimes...

I have decided how I am going to take on the Bible--- which is a serious task. And I made a commitment(in grace), and you may need to do the same thing.... I just made a commitment that says from my heart basically that I will posture my heart rightly before I read, and as I read. I will devote specific time to prayer and the Word. Really basic stuff. I am just realizing more and more that I am on this journey for eternity, and it would be rather silly if I didn't start and make a commitment now. It would be silly for me to not throw myself, and give myself to a living knowledge of the WORD of God.... Even if it takes me             

forever

and ever

and ever

That's a long time.

So basically... yeah that is my commitment. It doesn't seem like much, but I believe that it will shake the heavens..... going low tends to do that.

I will be posting more this week seeing that I will not be out of town.... What a surprise!! =]

Let's do it!!

Hey hey hey everyone! I have prayed about it, and I have been praying about this blog, and I feel like I am finally getting some direction, and I am so stinkin excited about what the LORD is doing in our city, state, and country. I believe it is our responsibility as Gods people to pursue lives of prayer, and in doing that we really need to be lifting up our nations leaders, and our president. Our country is in great, great need of prayer, and really another wave of revival. I believe that, that is truly what we are lined up for. In the midst of spiritual darkness is usually when God loves to pour out His Spirit, and not just a few sparks in the air, and not a bunch of magic tricks, but He wants to break in with the power of the Holy Spirit that we with our own eyes have not seen, and with our own ears have not heard. Because Jesus is doing a new thing in the earth, and because I believe, and so many others believe that awakening, and revival, and an outpouring of His Spirit is coming, He always raises up forerunners.... John the Baptists, and messengers, and lovesick worshippers to prepare the way, and make the people ready.  As His day is getting closer and closer now more than ever we desperately need to join together in prayer, and in fasting, and do what the LORD has called us to do as His chosen people.

Which brings us to.... (and you are going to want to pull out your Bible now)

Isaiah 40:3

Before we get into this entire passage, I just want to take a quick look at  Mark 1:2-3....

Behold I send my messenger before your(Jesus') face, who will prepare Your(Jesus) way, the voice of one crying out in the wilderness: 'Prepare the way of the LORD, make His paths straight.'

In Isaiah 40:3 Isaiah prophesies this very thing happening before the day of the LORD at the end of the age, and I believe that when John the Baptist came, he was the fulfilment of this, but only in a small measure, I believe that the LORD right now in the earth is raising up an army of forerunner messengers who will fulfill this end-time prophesy. Because the time is coming, and is really, and hear me when I say this, the time is so near, to when Jesus comes back, if we would just press in a little more, and a little harder, I truly believe that He will open up heaven, split the sky and return to the earth. But He can't come until the people of God cry out, until the way is made straight, until WE take on this calling in Isaiah 40:3.

 

I see 6 steps or requirements(I don't know what you would call them) in this verse that John the Baptist faithfully walked in to prepare the way for the LORD's first coming, and I think that this is what we need to do as the end time church, only intensified like a billion times.... as in the fire, and passion in which we burn for the LORD in. We must take on this verse, and dissect it, and learn it, and get revelation on it, so I just want to charge you to take Mark 1, and Isaiah 40 and charge after revelation on this subject, don't just listen... or read what I write, but figure out what you believe(Acts 17:11).

But anyway, what I see in this verse that we are to walk in....

-To go before His face-(The face of Jesus.)

-To prepare His(Jesus') way.

-To go to the wilderness(to the place of prayer and fasting, in the secret place)

-To cry out(engage our calling as intercessors)

-To prepare the way of the LORD(said twice-- I believe one way we can do this, and the best way to do this- is The Great Commission, to disciple others in the knowledge of God--there are countless ways to prepare the way but discipleship is the most effective way)

-To make His(Jesus) paths straight- I just think this means to welcome the LORD, and make known He is coming back.... I would highly recommend to everyone to read the book of Revelation, and search it out.

I just want to charge you in this, go all out. Take on the forerunner spirit. This doesn't mean you have to shut yourself out from all of the world, or even your friends, it means that in all you do you are focused on Jesus and really what is on His heart, and that is to be one with His Bride which can only be accomplished through His second coming when He will shake everything that can be shaken to get His Bride, but only if we cry out.

So lets continue to press into the LORD and cry out.

Hey you guys, I just wanted to say really quickly that the reason we have the whole meditation verses, and why I recommend you read the scriptures posted before you read on is because the Word of God is infallible, and no fault is in it. What you get out of the Word, and what I say may be, and probably will be different. So I just wanted to put that before you before you go on.

Living a life of wholehearted worship to the LORD, out of our own willing love for Him is the greatest thing we can do in this age, and in the age to come. It is setting our affections on Jesus, our Bridegroom King.

   Living a life of worship with everything we are, and in everything we do is declaring our own personal love to the LORD BY lifting up His Name above all other names. To do this we must make the choice to love God with all of our heart soul mind and strength. We must purposefully, and diligently set our mind will and emotions on loving God, so that our actions reflect our desire.

   That is another thing. I believe God is wanting people to love Him, serve Him, and obey Him, because they want to, because they love Him- Not because they have to.

  That is the life I want to live. To serve God wholeheartedly, because I love Him, and I want to.... not because I have to, or I am forced to. Even though sometimes, and most of the time discipline, and diligence is required, it makes the reward even greater. We have not even tasted the goodness, and the glory of God. 

    God is opening a door to us, I believe, and HE-JESUS- is offering His people to know what is on His heart, and once we know, we are filled with joy, and peace, because even though so much is going on we have assurance that the LORD has prepared for us a place in His home in eternity. The crazy thing is, that Christians are not these wacky nut jobs who are worried, and constantly in strife. The LORD instead lets us in on His secrets, and POURS OUT HIS AFFECTIONS ON US WHEN WE LIVE TO LOVE HIM.

Lets love Him.

Thank You Father that You have so blessed us in all that You do. We truly have not lived, so I pray that You would just touch us LORD. We love You so much! You are the lover of our souls, and we are not worthy, but we are thankful! Bless you Jesus!! We love you! In Your Name. Amen.

The Secret Place

Hola amigos!! I have been praying about this blog, and just the direction of it, and the LORD is just showing me how to just run with Him, and the dream for this blog... even though that sounds a little silly to the ear, He uses what He wants, and hey if this is it right now... So be it!! =] plus I really enjoy this.

It is funny how the LORD allows us to do things we love to prepare us for the future, and an even fuller fulfilment of our destiny.

Worship is such an act of just loving God, by living lives surrendered to Him. I for one am just getting lost in all of this... and I am sure that sooner or later it will all make since to me.... I just need to get messed up a little more. Because it is all upside-down, and backwards in the Kingdom of God, and worship is just really the focal focus of what we do as Gods people.

Worship is our occupation. As human beings, we give our attention, and our affections, and adoration to something or someone and by doing so we worship that thing or person.

SO as Gods people we must choose to give our attention, and affections, and adoration, and praise to the Only One found Worthy! Jesus! 

Once we do this, and we choose to worship the Jesus, He delights our hearts, and our souls soo SOOO much! He pours out pleasure, and joy.

This is the God we serve!! WE CANNOT OUT-GIVE HIM.... 

He gives us so much when we do what is good in His sight. Like a little kid, when children are learning and they do good, their parents praise them and give them candy and encourage them, in the small things.... Like using the potty..... Funny but true that how God treats us. We have not reached full maturity in any way, I don't know about you, but I struggle so bad sometimes with putting others first, but when I do I am rewarded in some way. (spiritual discipline is way different though, in spiritual discipline usually we do things good, and it hurts, and we don't get our rewards until the age to come.)

So how are we going to do this?? How are we going to push and press in to worship the Living God? How do we effectively and actively choose this lifestyle of worship which I will be talking about tomorrow?

Here is the deal-> It is different for every person so you need to get with God and see and ask Him where your life needs more discipline. Figure out what you yourself are going to do to pursue this.

And decide beforehand that you will do whatever it takes... or don't bother. But I am telling you this now, and I am positive I will be experiencing this more in life that it is SOOO WORTH IT.

One more thing... I am going to be taking on different subjects every week, and I already have a lot of them lined up, and of course I am being flexible to the Holy Spirit. So this week the subject is worship. Be getting into the Word, and ask God to give you revelation on worship, and all these things press into the heart of God. I am here with this blog to help you to enter in more to encourage you, and to challenge you, but you have to choose to do the work or not. =]

Mention this to your friends, and mainly to those who you think need something like this. I am here to spur you on, and the LORD is going to be doing a great work in this blog, and I say that in faith.

Prayer focus:

cultivating a life of single-worship(just to Jesus worship)

LORD, thank you so much for all you are doing in the earth, and for shaking what can be shaken. I pray that you would do that in me, even though it may hurt sometimes. I ask for encounters with you for every person who does Your will, and I pray that you would raise up believers to declare, and pledge their allegiance to you Jesus! The pure and spotless Lamb.

Call to Prayer

Today, March 5th, one of the most significant court cases in America’s history will take place.  TheCalifornia Supreme Court will hear arguments regarding the overturning of the vote of the people last year to pass Proposition 8, which defines marriage between a man and a woman.  If this vote is overturned, not only will it set a major precedent of the court’s power over the will of the people, but it will likely be the flash point that will determine the future of America as liberal and homosexual agendas will disseminate throughout the educational systems and into the very fiber of American culture.  The California State Senate just ruled against the peoples’ vote and asked the court to overthrow the defining of marriage as between a man and a woman.  Senator Leno likened the people who voted for Prop 8 to the Germans who voted for the Nazi Regime.

During these past three months since President Obama’s election, the voices of rage against Judeo-Christian values and against the church have been emboldened to use inflammatory language and pass bills and laws that are anti-Christian in their very nature.  When senators use such language, persecution is close at hand.  We are in a desperate moment in American history.  Everyone is pointing to the severe crisis of our economy, but I am convinced it is only an indicator of a massive moral decline America has slid into.  It is time to pray, humble ourselves, and rid ourselves of moral compromise in the Church.  If the salt loses its savor, it is only good for being thrown out and trampled under the foot of man.

Today we are calling the Church across the nation to pray.

Take this moment and hear His call to humility, fasting and repentance.  If we do this, God can deal with kings and judges like He haunted Nebuchadnezzar with dreams and removed Herod by the angel of the Lord.  This hearing today will be followed by a 90-day period in which the court must make a decision.  Pray for these judges that the hand of God will influence their minds and hearts, that the fear of the Lord would fall upon them, and that dreams would invade their world, their wives, their children, and their innermost thoughts.  Pray that God would restrain principalities and powers that have mustered their forces of demons to seize this nation through this door in California.  Pray for an unprecedented outpouring of the Spirit in California and America.  Pray that God would raise up righteous leaders and bring down the unrighteous ones.  Pray for the cleansing of sexual compromise and divorce in the church so that she can reclaim spiritual authority.  Finally, pray that the love of Godwould be poured out on those struggling with homosexuality across this nation.  Oh that the power of God, the power of the gospel, would be released again to free the captives!

This is a moment in time that calls for crisis intercession.

To resign to an inevitable collapse of society is sin, for throughout history God has moved with amazing power to change the courses of nations and overthrow the wrongdoers.  Just look at Elijah’s confrontation with Ahab and Jezebel.  This could be our Elijah moment.

Onething Once Again.

Revelation(1:1)

--The Secret Place--

Hello friends!! I was praying this morning, and reading in Revelation 1, and as I was reading I was just struck with these words...

"The Revelation of Jesus Christ"

So I meditated on it, and I was praying about it, and through it and the LORD showed me this interesting fact about the entire book of Revelation, which is alone enough reason to read and meditate on this book over and over and over... and over again. =](I will get to this in just a moment)

Psalm 27:4 says 

ONE THING I have asked of the LORD, and that I shall seek; That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, TO GAZE UPON THE BEAUTY OF THE LORD and to seek Him in His temple.... all the days of my life.

So when we make that one thing our desire, and when we focus in on that one thing,  if we make that one thing-gazing upon Jesus- our pursuit, all of our longings will be forever satisfies. So How do we catch a glimpse of that beauty that our eyes long to see (and not really yet in a physical way, though one day we will see Him with our physical eyes),How do we see Jesus, how do we catch a glimpse of His beauty? 

Of course.... In His Word, accompanied by prayer! If we seek Him in His temple, and get into His word and get revelation on His word, we will end up just inwardly gazing(I hope that makes since, its like getting insight in your heart, and pondering Him, and thinking about Him, because all He is and all He does is beautiful.) upon His beauty, and our inner man will come alive, and we we will live life to the fullest, without any hindrance to the love being poured out to us. This may or may not make since, but to live for God to gaze on the beauty of Jesus is worth dying for(and really this is proved many many many many times in scripture). 

So to bring this back to full circle.

 When I was reading Revelation 1 this morning, I read that line 'The Revelation of Jesus Christ'  I guess I just fell more in love with God, because when it says the revelation of JESUS, to me it reads 'The Revelation of The Beauty of the LORD', or 'The Revelation of BEAUTIFUL' Its like the entire book reflects the beauty of the LORD, that He is good, and righteous and just. It is like we catch a glimpse of who Jesus is, and in this book we see Jesus burn with zealous passion for His Bride.

It came alive to me.

So like, the whole book of Revelation is an insight to the burning heart of our Bridegroom King. Wow. I never thought of it that way, and it make too much since to me. So for us to get to know this Jesus, that everyone talks about, but noone actually looks at, we need to gaze upon Him ourselves, and get into His word. So here is a really big key to seeing the beauty of Jesus in all that He does.

I highly recommend you read Revelation, and as you do pray that it comes alive to you. 

I hope this all makes perfect sense. =]

Pray for: Wisdom and revelation.... Also the homeless in our city are popping out to me more and more everyday, pray that God would open doors for us to reach out to them, and love the least. 

Father, I just want to ask you, to give us revelation of Jesus, and of Your Word. You are always good, and worthy of praise! We love You!
