House of Prayer=Remnant on the Earth

Isaiah 52:7-12

Amos 5:14-15

--The Secret Place--

The intercessors are the remnant in the church, The LORD reveals Himself to those who pray. He sees us when we pray. I just want to say to everyone reading this who prays(and if you don't pray I really recommend it to you! =]), don't let the 'feeling' or 'thoughts' or the lies that are spoken to you by the enemy tell you that your prayers don't matter, or what you are doing is worthless. What we do in prayer moves the very heart of God, when we choose to take on a life of prayer, and we fast, its like we are killing our flesh, and when we kill our flesh it isn't going to die easy if you haven't noticed =]. I have trouble with this sometimes. We have to constantly remind ourselves, and be reminded that what we do in the secret place is seen by the One who does something about it. 

We are entering into a time, so urgent, that to live life without stumbling at all, we have to spend time with God, or else this world will ruin us with darkness. That is one reason prayer is really important. I believe that we are being set up for the greatest moment in history, and we are not yet ready, and the only way to get ready is to pray, and to give all for love. I want to walk in the knowledge and reality of God. I want to go beyond the minimum requirements of Christianity. I believe that, that is what we are called to as the house of prayer

[But how are we going to do that? It is easy to say, and it is easy to talk about, but something has to be done about it. The answer, I have found, is different for every person. So ask God what the next step for you to take is.]

Our strength has become our weakness. I feel like even prayer is becoming such a burdensome thing, when truly in the house(place) of prayer is where we find JOY. And the JOY of the LORD is our strength.

If the church would pray, it would be like dramatic on steroids to the 10th degree.

Earlier I was praying, and i asked God what His 'model' for prayer was, and He said....

"24/7, a never-ending crying out."

What if...... What if we just a few people took hold of the torch of prayer that has been set down for so many years, and we brought back intercession!! Can you imagine the hope that it would bring, and the JOY that it would bring. Such a fire would start that we couldn't put it out, even if we tried...... and then God would come, Jesus would come back to the sound of His bride crying out.

As God's people He is offering to us to know Him intimately, I want that. I am convinced that the only way to get there is to pray.

So my challenge to you today, and really this week or however long it take you, but I want to challenge you to take up the fiery torch of prayer, and fan the flame! Realize that He has set you, yes you, the nobody, the one no one notices, He has set you apart to pray, to touch His heart, and to run hard after Him with all that you are. You were made to live surrendered to Him.  Don't let the desire in you for more go, let the LORD satisfy the hunger within you that noone else can.

Lord, we lift up to You the church, and Father we ask in Jesus' Name that You would be lifted up, and that You would be exalted above all else. Jesus, You have the Name above all other names, and You alone are beautiful, and glorious! Thank You for all You do, and all You have done, and for all that You are going to do. We love You, and ask that You would help us, and equip us to fan into flame into flame the prayers that are offered up to You. I pray the You would raise up the house of prayer in Dothan. We love You! In Jesus' Name. Amen

As I was praying today, and as I was listening the the LORD, He just revealed Himself to me more, and showed me some really cool things.... That I want to share =]

I just heard Him speak these words, so I'm just going to write it like He said it. =]

 'I am inviting you, my people to come on a journey into My heart, and into My thoughts, and the way to know Me, My heart, and My thoughts is prayer. What better thing to pray than the Word of God.'

------Pause-------

Ok so Jesus is inviting us, His people to know Him, and to know basically His secrets, to know the mysteries of Himself. And I believe He is showing us that the BEST way to partner with Him in intercession, and the BEST way to know Him in prayer, is through His Word--- Which is ABSOLUTE TRUTH. We have full assurance what the will of God is through His Word. We can intimately enter into ALL He has for us in intercession and in prayer through His Word. PLUS, What better thing to pray over yourself or over someone else than the VERY WORD OF THE LORD. We are to dig deep into His Word through prayer and intercession, and there is nothing greater! There is no better calling than what I am putting before you today, because we are all going to be doing it FOREVER, and it puts us before the FATHER.

SO... Pray His Word. Just go through, and get caught up in what you are praying, don't just take it on casually, as the Word of God, the Word of God should be treated as the Word of the LIVING and TRUE GOD. Get caught up on a word, or a verse or a phrase-whatever strikes you-like-> I am dark, but lovely.(SOS 1:5) praise Him for it, and THANK Him for it- Go deep into it.

Whatever you do don't just sit around trying to think of what to pray for, do basic stuff, and let the Holy Spirit lead you as you pray.

Intercession is deeply linked to INTIMACY, in fact, INTERCESSION, is at the HEART of INTIMACY, but also... INTIMACY is at the heart of INTERCESSION they go together. Jesus went up to the mountain to be with the Father, and there in that secret place was where intercession poured out of Himself. So how are we going to get into the Father's heart, and mind??    The secret place. Where no one sees you, but the FATHER. When no one hears you, but the FATHER. secret place.

When we are found in the secret place by the Father, He then I believe fills our hearts with intercession, and we can partner with Him in intercession, and we can partner with Him in establishing JUSTICE. 

I hope this is helpful..... Resources on intercession is found in your very own (prayer)closet!! Help yourself to the Word of God, and would you like intimacy with that, SHUT THE DOOR AND ITS YOURS!!

--The Secret Place--

Hello fellow intercessors!!!! I have been on such a journey lately. Life has been happening, and throwing it's troubles, and some blessings at me as well. I have been a little unfaithful at posting lately, so I apologize for that, but I believe the LORD is revealing Himself to those who seek Him.

The LORD has really been laying on my heart intercession, and LOVE, and most of all JUSTICE. I have found that justice is woven between almost everything in the Bible, and in life. In the earth there is a need for justice, and that need will only be met through intercession, and prayer. Justice will be released through an abundant measure of a revelation of God's love. His love for His people, and His love for justice is great. So I have been constantly confronted with the revelation, and fact that God is looking for people, and people, and any one person to partner with Him in intercession out of love for Him. There is a question in His heart for His people, and I believe that, that question is 'Will you be an intercessor?' I believe that we are all intercessors, and it is the greatest honor to partner with God in intercession--- which is our eternal calling.

So I have been focusing, and will be focusing on these two questions......

'What is intercession?' and 'How can I partner with the LORD in intercession?'

So these next few days, and possibly weeks I will be learning, and posting, and getting, and giving resources on intercession. So let's go deep into this. 

But before I end this post, I want to say that I really believe that intercession is one of the most excellent ways to show the LORD that you love Him, and you love what He loves, and you hate what He hates, and it is partnering with Him in all that He is doing. It is a glorious thing!

---Intercession---

Lord, Jesus, You are the great intercessor, and I just want to thank you so much for being my intercessor. Thank you for being a caring Bridegroom, I pray that You would help us to walk in our calling as intercessors, and I pray that You would just wake us up. I love you, and trust You. Thank You for letting me, and letting Your people partner with You in intercession! In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Isaiah 56:7

--The Secret Place--

So, I have been praying, and just experiencing joy. Real Joy. I actually heard a sermon by Billy Humphrey, and he was talking about intercession, and this verse came up, and he was just talking about how God makes His intercessors full of joy, He makes us happy when we pray. =]

So basically this verse is saying, to me at least, that Jesus wants us to partner with Him-The Intercessor- in intercession, and not only does He want us to pray and intercede and be burdened for what He is burdened about, He wants, and LOVES to make us happy! He makes us JOYFUL.

So many times, I get into this mode, where I am really just too serious, and when I am in my serious "It's the end of the age" mode, I just get to thinking too much, and I end up getting worried, and frustrated, which HELLO isn't good fruit. So this verse just gives a whole new outlook on how we come into the presence of the LORD, and how we handle situations, it gives reason to not go into 'serious mode'. With the revelation that He wants to make us joyful when we pray, we can go into His presence,  intercession be made, get the burden of the LORD, but over all, be filled with unexplainable JOY!! Leave burdened, but not worried, or frustrated.

I think about this and laugh. The JOY of the LORD is my strength, not the burden of the LORD. When I try to make the burden of the LORD my strength, it becomes a bad thing to bear because BURDEN is not suppose to, nor was ever suppose to take the place of JOY.Joy..... It just changes the way you look at things.... 

So we can know it is the end of the age, and carry the urgency of the hour in our hearts(as I believe we need to), and prepare the way of the LORD, but we will do it in joy. Now you may ask, 'Why would we be filled with this joy, if it is the end of the world and Jesus is coming back to destroy everything we know?' Well Here is the answer=== How could you not be excited that our Bridegroom King is coming back with His scepter of JUSTICE, FOR HIS BRIDE!! FOR ME!! AND FOR YOU!!! There is a balance, but for me overall, I am excited, because I believe that in the end times, and in the tribulation, will be the biggest, worldwide revival no one has ever seen, because we will have no other choice but to throw away EVERYTHING that hinders LOVE, and we will LOVE.

It is interesting to think about, in fact I think I will probably talk about it more later on this week =]

Father, Thank You so much for giving us JOY in Your presence, I pray that You would minister to each, and every person reading this, and I just pray that You would fill them with Your joy. We love You LORD, and pray that You would just awaken intercession within our hearts. In Jesus Name. Amen.

2 Samuel 15:15

-The Secret Place-

Ok so, what I want to focus on in these 3 verses are 2 phrases that have struck my heart this week. 1 is out of chapter 15, David is fleeing from Absalom, and his servants say to David, "Behold, YOUR SERVANTS are READY to DO whatever YOU CHOOSE."

'Your servants are ready to do whatever You choose.'

After I read that I had to stop. The LORD began to show me what it means to have this prayer in my heart towards Him. What does it take to have this prayer resounding in my heart. 

I prayed about this verse and this is what the LORD spoke to me.

"Kasey, This is the word My people must live out and speak to Me, for Me to do what is on My heart. I charge you, fight for this to happen, for this to be the cry of your heart, and the cry in the hearts of My people."

I kept on going deeper into this verse, into this prayer before the LORD and began to ask Him what are the requirements for this to be the cry of my heart.

He just spoke to me...

You must be completely given to Me in LOVE NOT duty.

You must serve Me, be My servant, think, act and live as My servant, with the knowledge that you are greatly loved.

You must be prepared, and ready to obediently do whatever I choose for you to do. Whatever I call you to do in every single circumstance of life.

You have to choose what I choose, be willing to stand for Me, even unto death.

The LORD is setting people apart by this very verse, and this very cry.

This cry is precious to the LORD, it implies the FAITHFULNESS of His people(unto death).

So, how are we going to live this out in our lives? I want to challenge you to go deep into this very verse.

This screams the essence of being set apart to the LORD. As His people we are to be set apart to Him.

I will post again tomorrow......So be digging, be digging deeply into the Word of God, ask God to give you a hunger for His Word.

-Intercession-

Father, I pray that this would resound in the hearts of those reading this blog, and in the hearts of those seeking and pursuing You. I pray that You would capture our hearts to be fascinated with and by You. Would You be our everything LORD, I just want to say Abba, that we trust You. You are good, and we love you. Here we are, please come and make Yourself known to us in the secret place as we give ourselves to You.

I love You, we love You, and I pray that You would just write this Word on our hearts.

Make Your servants ready to do whatever You choose for us to do. In Your Name Jesus. Amen

Love...

Today is a day, to set ourselves apart to the LORD, to show Him our love for Him. What a great God we have!! I am reminded that Jesus is the GREATEST expression of love! How He gave all to be one with us. He is now preparing us, His bride to really really be one. To be with Him in the fullness of His glory.

We are so blessed!

 God, we thank you for how great you are! We give you glory and honor and praise. Jesus, be glorified in us. We love you. Please continue to reveal yourself to us.

This week I am going to be posting about consecration, about what our lives should look like before Christ, and before others.--from my point of veiw at least--

I believe the LORD is calling SO MANY right now to be set apart. Young and old He is pouring out His Spirit. 

So be praying, and be seeking His face.

Onething..... An Update

Hey everyone I just felt the need to update.

The LORD is really just taking me through a time of focus, and just bringing me deeper. I will be posting more, but just to explain everything. It has been such a challenge lately to set myself apart, but the more I do it the more I see the fruit of when I have done it in the past. So I just want to encourage you to keep on pursuing a life in the secret place. Know the thoughts of God. Do what is in your heart. I love you guys! Be blessed!!! Jesus is pouring out Himself to those who go low, those who are humble. I am praying for you!!!

How can it be?

How can it be that we live in such a way that we are blind to the truth about what God says about us?

We are the apple of His eye. With one glance we caught His eye. With one look His way, His heart has been CAPTIVATED, and ENRAPTURED. In His eyes we are BEAUTIFUL, and He doesn't want us to deny it. He loves us the way we are. We are His delight. 

Don't you want to know God?? I do, but so many times, I find myself turning my gaze away from the One who cherishes it the MOST!!!! I need to surrender my gaze. I need to give myself away to the One who satisfies my every need. I NEED Jesus. I NEED His help. I am a guilty sinner, and I need to look at situations the way God does. I sometimes get a little frustrated, and mad, and really that is the WRONG way to handle situations.... but THANK GOODNESS I am forgiven, and I am cleansed by His blood. Wow. I need revelation(Don't we all?). God wants me, God wants you! When we turn our gaze and give our attention to things like well, bad thoughts, gossip, T.V.,  and the things of this world, when we do that, we neglet the Love of our lives, and it so grieves His heart. I really really don't want to do that. My focus gets so messed up at times, and it's like I don't even think about how the LORD really wants me to handle it. But thank goodness He even cares so much to turn that around to show me/us that He loves me/us.

Prayer is the only way to get Gods heart on the so many issues we find ourselves dealing with. So lets jump deep into the waters of His heart.

---From the Secret Place---

   When I think about these verses, I think about my relationship with the LORD. I am broken over this, the LORD is so in love with us... Just say that=>The LORD is so in love with ME!<=...... I mean this is no small thing, and I know I have talked about this, and wrote about this a lot, but the more I think about it the more I realize that I am no where close to showing Him the love I have for Him in any strong way, or whatever...... The FATHER longs to have a(for His) family, and the SON longs for His Bride. I feel in my life, like I could go farther, and I could know God better, but I have let myself talk me into the thought that I don't have what it takes, or it is unnecessary to go deeper in the ways God is calling me to go deeper..... But isn't that loving God on my own terms.---- Yes.

I am so guilty of that, but here is the deal. GOD SEES ME. He sees me in my struggle. He sees my little efforts, and He sees the sacrifices I make, whether they are big or small. The thing about all of this though, is that HE LOVES ME. HE SEES MY EFFORTS, and HE LOVES IT!

I have forgotten, it seems like, that I move His heart. He loves me. I don't even know what that means. What am I willing to give, and what am I willing to do to know what LOVE really, REALLY IS.

What am I willing to do to get more of Christ's love. I believe this calls for drastic measure. This means to turn my eyes away from WORTHLESS THINGS! How far am I willing to go???? What can I go without??? What will benefit my relationship with the LORD if I give up a few things??

What if so many people actually took a step closer to the LORD in their love relationship with Him. What if we took steps closer. Giving Him more of our time.

Will facebook matter in 20 years when it is forgotten about and there is all of the sudden a new web club thing?

Will all of the time wasted on the Internet, and on the TV matter in eternity??

What will matter is how we used our time. 

In eternity - What will matter is how we walk out our LOVE RELATIONSHIP with CHRIST!

How far am I willing to go. We as the Bride, and we, as the church need to pull ourselves together SO THAT we may lose ourselves in His gaze.

Wow..... You and I should read Psalm 27, and I will be posting again tomorrow.

Jesus, please help us. Please please come and help us LORD to do your will. Please HELP US FATHER to cry out to You from the depths of our hearts. God, please come and reveal who You are to us. Jesus, we love You, and we need You. We need You to TRULY LOVE YOU. We want You! I pray LORD that You would raise up those who will voluntarily love you with all of their heart, soul, mind, and strngth. Jesus, I pray that as You call Your people to the wilderness, that we would responde. I pray that You would make known to us the things that grasp, and STEAL our gaze away from You. Make known to us LORD what is on Your mind. We love you!! We want to see you lifted HIGH! Your Name is above ALL NAMES!!!! Thank You for all that you do for us! In Your Name LORD Jesus. Amen.

Pray, and ask the LORD to help you spend your time wisely, and ask Him if there is anything He wants you to do to say no to the things of the world, just to show Him that you love Him.

Think of it this way. Does the Love of your life HAVE to bring you flowers?-No. They do that because they want to, and because they care.

For some of us, we could give up some things that don't really matter too much to just show Him that we love Him. To just show Him that we care. To show Him that we want more time with Him than we do on facebook, or myspace, or whatever. I am not saying any of this to convict you. I am throwing this before you, and it is your responsibility in the LORD to search out what I say to see how it is truth along with the WORD of God.

--From the Secret Place--

Hey you guys! As this week has gone by I keep on thinking about that one verse......'We love(Him), because He first loved us'.... and I also think about loving Him with my whole heart, and keeping Jesus as my first Love.

 But really, we LOVE because HE LOVES US. He loves us right now.

The thing that keeps on blowing me away is that He loves me, and He DELIGHTS in ME!! Even when I am soo weak. Then I also think about those who have been caught up in sin, and things like pornography, or sexual immorality, and the amazing thing is, whether you tell a lie, or you have been caught up in pornography for years, if we repent and turn to the LORD with ALL of our hearts, He accepts us, and He LOVES US!! He loves us no matter where we are in life. It is one thing to say that, I know because I find myself saying it a lot, but how many times have we experienced it? I know I need to experience it daily, and I know one thing is for sure, is that it is worthy of searching out, I really want to know that Love. I have only tasted.

 

 He is putting a call out to His people, and it is simple, He wants us. He wants us a lot. Those who want Him, will pursue Him. How badly do you want Him? How far are you willing to go? What are you willing to do, and what are you willing to give up to have more of HIM?? He will pour out His Spirit to those who diligently pursue Him.

Think about it.

PRAY about it.

Father, I want to come before you in the Name of Jesus, and I just ask in Your Name to raise up a cry in the hearts of those reading this, and in the hearts of men to know TRUE LOVE. Raise it up withing me also to seek your face with all that we are, no matter what the cost, let us live abandoned lives, let us live lives of devotion to You. I pray that You would make Yourself known to those who seek You diligently, who give themselves to lifestyles of prayer, fasting, and intimacy with You. Bless those who bless, and curse those who curse. LORD, you are MY LORD, and I will earnestly seek you. I love You, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

What is Religion?

I have been going through quite a time in life, it has been very challenging. How easy is it to just get worried, and take it into your own hands? Like God doesn't know what He is doing, or He is expecting you to know how to please Him? And I was thinking about how it is so easy to just become religious about what's in the Word, and what we are to do as Christians.

I have my own little definition about being religious--For me it is being legalistic about our convictions.... ouch.

It's kinda when you get into the whole routine thing, and really it messes you up because usually you get into the attitude, and mindset that our time with God is a chore, when it is like the GREATEST HONOR!

I find myself doing this at times, and when you think about it, it really greives the heart of God.

Tomorrow I will be posting daily more, and I just want to stand as an encouragement to you, and push you on to get into the word, and search yourself. 

We, at times, get into these funks where we don't feel passionate about God, or we don't feel like living it out, or having our quiet times, but love it stronger than feelings, I don't think Jesus really wanted to get on that cross that day, but I know that He wanted love more than He cared for the pain He was yet to suffer.

I hope this is making sense, I will be posting this next week on a more focused subject. But I love you guys so much!! And even better the LORD loves you SOOOOOOO MUCH MORE!!!!!

Keep going.

It has been such an experience for me these past few days, just searching for God, and His will. It's weird but sometimes I have a hard time receiving His peace, and the fact that He has great plans for my life. I have just had to speak that over myself....... 'You have plans for me'.......'You love me'...........'You care for me'..........'and You don't want me to be confused, or to confuse myself'.

The truth is that He just wants to be with me, and He wants me to be with Him..... ALL THE TIME.

How awkward would it be if you walked into an empty building except your spouse.... (and I'm not married, but I know this would be weird) and you didn't say anything to them. What if you just ignored the love of your life??

That is the exact same picture of us, when we go through our day, and it sucks... because something was missing. But there is one thing that fills our every need. 

This is what is going through my mind, and as I think about these things I am reminded that He understands when life gets rough, and He is offering Himself to us to help. But is the only time we are going to accept Jesus for help when we ourselves are having to make sacrifices that we don't choose to make. The truth is that we are in desperate need of Him every single second of our lives. We desperately need Him. I desperately need Him.... In all my problems and in all of my joy... I need Him. What gets me through these times is the Word of God. This is a lot of randomness.... I will be getting more focused this week... in case you were wondering. =]

The LORD is so good, and His mercy endures forever.... and ever... and ever.

Guard your heart-It is the WELLSPRING of LIFE.

I have been thinking today about obedience, and just about how God delights in me when I am.

He is pleased with me when I am obedient, and He is pleased with you when you are obedient.

Something I need to realize in my own personal life is that (most people know this) but sometimes God calls me to do things that really don't make sense, and sometimes they are things I want to do, really most of the time they are things that I want to do. But what happens when He calls us to do things that we do not want to do?

What happens when He calls you to say no-when He calls you to give up something that is close to your heart.

This week I have been praying more and more and the conclusion that I arrive at is that on judgement day when nothing else matters besides what the Father says of me I'm not going to care about anyones 'oppinion'--(INCLUDING MY OWN) SO=> Why should I be so concerned right now that it would effect my choice as to follow the Father, or follow the crowd.

Will we be found so concerned about ourselves, and so concerned about what we want to do that we miss God's will? OR will we are we going to be people so caught up in what the Father is doing that we are the ones walking around filled with knowlege of the secret things of God.

That was a bit of random. I don't know..... Hopefully you benefit from these posts. =]

Hello Blog Readers!

Jesus is coming.

I have been thinking about this more and more and more this past month. The more I meditate, and think, and ponder this, the more I feel, and know even when I don't feel the urgency.

But there is so much to be done before He comes back.

That is why He is raising up forerunners.

That is why He is raising up messengers.

And that is why He is raising up Nazirite.

Let's look into this a little more deeply...

This age leads up to a wedding. To the wedding of the Lamb. Where the Bride of Christ, and the Faithful Bridegroom King Jesus will become one.

For His Bride to be made ready, and this is obvious, we must go into preparation, especially because the wedding......is SOON.

So....

How are we to prepare the bride?

How are we going to prepare ourselves?

Will we recognize our Jesus, our Bridegroom.... Well! The better question is, Will Jesus recognize us.

He is waiting for His BRIDE to cry out.

Not the BODY OF CHRIST, and not the CHURCH.

But His 

BRIDE.

Jesus is coming.
